First Hyrox is in the books. I accomplished my first goal of under two hours and I didn’t throw up.

I’ll worry about getting a better time the next race.

I’m grateful for my friends at 1st Phorm that pushed me to do something hard and who I got to share this trip with.

Everyday felt long and monotonos, never really feeling alive. I would have days where good things would happen to me and I knew I should be happy, but all I could
feel was this sad empty feeling that never really went away.

My thoughts swirled around my haed like a cloud of self hate, and I believed i was stuck in a depression state.
My life was never that bad, its just something that manifested since i was younger.
Drinking and just living how i wanted to only seemed to prolong the feeling.
The
only thing that seemed to help was when I tried 75 hard.
Once i started eating clean food and making visual progress in my learning and in
physique, Those thoughts slowly started to show up less until they stopped
altogether.
I'm convinced that the depression was just the product of my bad environment, bad
eating habits, and lack of discipline and progress

75 hard helped me the answer the questions that I’ve been asking myself for years. ‘How do I get more out of this life?’, and ‘what does the leveled up version of myself even look like’?. Dropping bad habits and living a strictly healthy lifestyle lifted the brain fog I didn’t even know was there, like my mind was in a recession that wasn’t visible until I fought my way out of it. Watching myself grow into a better person everyday taught me what self respect really looked like.

Life is like a tree, if you’re not growing you’re dying. I cannot recommend this program enough. After countless failed attempts, completing it is truly life changing.

21 days into 75 hard. Every day has been feeling like a struggle and all I want to do is take it easy and rest. But I know I won’t get what I want out of life if I can’t even see this through. These last 21 days have been the most tiresome and rewarding days I’ve experienced, and I’m ready to take on 54 more. #75hard by @bvarilek
