I realized I never posted any content from a trip I did last year to New Mexico. I got to explore the beautiful town of Abiquiu; which fun fact, is where Christopher Nolan built the Los Alamos set for Oppenheimer. Growing up in South Florida, this new type of environment really stirred up a lot of inspiration and creativity.

Some of you have probably heard my rant about the Mona Lisa. Here’s the bullet points…

Is it a masterpiece? Yes absolutely.
Is it overhyped and does the experience of seeing it give early 2000’s mosh pit PTSD? Yes.

My favorite thing about seeing the Mona Lisa is not the painting itself. When looking at it, there is a HUGE masterpiece that hangs on the opposite wall that to me, is way more impressive. It’s called The Wedding Feast at Cana by Paolo Veronese.

Everyone is focused on the iconic smirk of ML, but to me, everyone misses the gravity and scale of Veronese’s work.

Once I entered the room where da Vinci’s masterpiece resided, this was as close as I got. I stood for a minute and just people watched and snapped this photo.
