I love taking my songs and slowing them down. Good Things Come To An End is a slower, dreamier version of Good Things - and the last track from my EP of the same name released earlier this year on @casanueve. The visualiser, by @bvyv.studio, is out today.

Good Things Come To An End seems particularly poignant right now as the summer ends and life, for me and some of my friends at least, is changing a lot. I guess it’s obvious to say good things come & good things come to an end, but over the last year it’s rang so true to me as I’ve had to find light in difficult times and have seen people around me do the same. Dedicating this one to two of my favourite people, @joni.sounds & @itsoknatalia. I miss you!

It’s probably quite obvious but all the visuals from Good Things have a connection to figure skating. I found it random that @yasminvardi @tape_2046 came to this theme at first – mainly due to the connection to my previous project Charlotte Spiral (named after a figure skating move) !! But now I love that everything is interlinked, and all I can imagine is the figure skater drawing a never-ending ammonite spiral, a spiral that connects each moment in life to the next…

My new EP Good Things is out this May! 💙

The artwork was made with my friends & incredible artists @yasminvardi & @tape_2046 of @bvyv.studio. Of course I had to have some blue elements in this new art, but we also wanted to make things brighter and icy, with more shine 💎 The lines and squares also represent the more rhythmic, and structured sound of the EP. We went through many different versions and this is where we ended up! Thank you Yas & Bea xx
