It’s okay to celebrate birthdays alone or with family or small group of friends. It’s okay to leave behind past mistakes, regrets, and painful experiences to pursue your own happiness. I’m grateful that with each passing year I’ve become, despite both internal and external turmoils, somewhat a better version of myself. I’m thankful that I’m still alive and well, and that I’ve never picked the once-solemn path I’ve envisioned back then. 1% ibex endurance challenge (lv0 > lv11 incline, +1lv every 5 minute interval). Managed to hit my minimum distance and calories before I started losing my breath at the last couple minutes. Almost hit maximum incline AAAAA. #sweaty #cardio #reverse2025 by @bw_cheng

Critically acclaimed 1-Michelin star chicken rice shop. Decided to give it a shot. Queuing up + waiting time amounted to almost 2 hours (best that you come over around 10.45am-11.30am so you won’t have to get stuck between waiting for a long time for the food to serve and going through an extremely long queue). Roasted pork is the centerpiece of it all, the taste was slightly above average at best. Crispy skin though, 7.5/10. Roasted chicken was okay at best. Not really worth paying the price for (I ordered half a chicken for RM40), 5.5/10. As for the “char siew”, worst of the trio, bland and didn’t taste as flavorful as it should as they did not marinate it enough with sweet sauce, 4/10. If you’re a very (and I mean, VERY) patient person, go ahead and try it for once-in-a-lifetime sake, but otherwise would not recommend. taken in Wong Kee(王美記海南雞飯店） by @bw_cheng
