Thank you football.
These last 8 years have brought me unbreakable bonds with my teammates and coaches that I will forever cherish. Although this season hasn’t gone the way we wanted, I managed to enjoy every second of it.

This game has taught me more about myself than anything else. This game builds character and teaches you that when things become hard, you have to be strong enough to overcome adversity and push through. This game taught me how to lead. How to pick up my brothers next to me when they are down and how to help them get through their battles. Being able to lead this group of guys in my final year has been a dream come true.

To my teammates, my brothers, you have given my life a new meaning. You have brought me so much happiness over the last couple of years and you will forever have a place in my heart. To my fellow seniors, I love every single one of you and you will forever be family. Most of us have been playing together since middle school and a few of us since 5th grade and you have made my love for this sport even stronger. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for all of us and I believe that God has a plan for everyone and you just have to trust his timing. For you underclassman, I hope I have made in impact on your lives as you have made an impact on mine. I wish you all the best of luck next year and I hope that you guys can accomplish the goals that you set for yourselves.

Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I love you all 🖤💛🤍
