You know what the hardest part of this year was? Cramming how I feel into under 3 minutes. 😂

But the actual hardest part of this year was believing it all. Actually being able to see the achievement and be proud of it. I’m sure we can all relate, that once you’ve checked one thing off your to-do list, there are 10 more tasks to add… so where’s the time to sit back and go, “wow… I’m actually doing this?!”

That’s why I made sure to put this video in my calendar. To celebrate this big moment that I never could have imagined would come true.

If it weren’t for the friends and family members telling me how much of a no-brainer this decision was, I wouldn’t be here. It’s crazy how sometimes someone else has to tell you how capable you are before you’re willing to take a chance on yourself.

If that was year one… I’m going to have to secure the seatbelt, because year two is going to be insane.

Thank you to everyone who has been my support system and hung on for this wild ride.

Third year in a row taking part in this incredible event hosted by TD, MNP, and McInnes Cooper, giving women the chance to step into what can be a very intimidating space… GOLF.

If you know me, you know I’ve grown to love the game (dating @mennis9 kind of requires it 😅) but truthfully, the only reason I ever felt confident enough to start was because I had a group of girls who made it fun, lighthearted, and safe to completely shank a ball five feet into the woods 😂

Every year I meet the most inspiring women who lead incredible businesses in Nova Scotia and I’m grateful for the opportunity to network in such a fun environment, especially in a sport and industry that’s still so male dominated.

Thanks to @golfclubns for hosting, and of course to our girl @kerrymahergolf for being every woman’s #1 cheerleader and making golf feel approachable, inclusive, and genuinely fun!!

Is there anything else you notice that gives you ‘robot’ vibes??

Your caption is just as important as the content itself. This is where people will go to learn more, and if you can keep them engaged on your post for as long as possible, the algorithm will be on your side!

We’d be silly not to use AI, but people are getting smarter and smarter every day. It’s easy to spot out what isn’t real and authentic, and the second someone does… 👋👋 bye-bye engagement.
