An emotional day, but worth the cause. 💜

Today we walked in memory of my father and many others who have been lost to, and are going through this disease. Thank you to my family for being by my side through this. It was hard at times today hearing the stories and having the pain rush back in. Having my wife by my side, and the rest of my family helped to get me through it.

Together we stand to try to bring awareness and to do our part in finding a cure. In hopes that others do not have to suffer as so many have done so far.

You may not remember. But we will never forget. 💜

Shop is coming along!

I’m in the last wall to close up. Then I can start to get all the tools and benches where I think they would be best. Always a great idea at first but then once you are working in it you have other ideas. Hopefully get it all closed up by tomorrow.

Shop Update.

Coming along with the concept. It’s been brutally hot here the last few weeks. Finally got a decent day to be outside and get things done.

Olive wood & pressed flowers in Wisebond Epoxy Resin.

I have never been happier with my choice in resin. I have tried a lot of different manufacturers over the years, and this is hands down the easiest and best available. Amazing Crystal Clear results from @wisebondepoxy . When I build a piece for my customers, I need to be sure to deliver the very best. Wisebond makes it possible for me to do just that, time and time again.

I had no idea these existed!

I realized after painting the wall that the outlets I bought would stand out too much. I found these colored caps that fit right over the existing outlets. No need to switch out the outlets. You can change it to the color you want. Choose from Black, Grey, Brown, or White.

I got these at my local @menardshomeimprovement and it saved me a great amount of time and money. You can get them here - Amerelle® Black Color Cap® Outlet Cover at Menards https://www.menards.com/main/electrical/wall-plates/amerelle-reg-black-color-cap-reg-outlet-cover/cc-cdo-bk/p-1642874369589790-c-1489667504662.htm

Time to add some color! With a little help from someone special.

Ready to paint the back wall and get the equipment laid out. Might move some things around but excited to see it coming together.

Change of direction on the design.

Decided to go with a themed shop. Let’s see how close I can come to my vision.

Nail guards installed, insulation cut and installed. Next comes the OSB.

I kept going back and forth on using closed cell foam insulation. Landed on traditional insulation for the walls, but might use the foam for the ceiling. I can then leave the rafters open for ductwork and future electrical.

Any thoughts on using the foam?
