Let’s talk about loyalty for a second!

One of the hardest things sometimes is being Loyal to your self!

Loyalty isn’t just about who you stand with, it’s about standing on what you said you’d do. Being loyal to yourself

Like in those moments you don’t feel like doing something but you still do

Keeping promises to myself has built a different level of confidence.

Being loyal to my standards, my habits, and the person I am wanting to become.

So trust me, be loyal to yourself 💪🏼

Here’s my story with Type 1 Diabetes ⬇️

At 16 years old, I went on a 9 day trip with a few friends right before my junior year football season. When I got home, my mom looked at me and asked, “Did you eat anything on that trip?” not exactly what you want to hear as an athlete who was eating like crazy to put on weight.

So I hopped on the scale… I was down 22 pounds. Looking back, it made sense why I was peeing 15 times a day and drinking water straight out of a cooler the whole trip.

The next week, I had an AAU basketball tournament. After one game, I didn’t have enough energy to play in the next, something that never happened to me. When I got home that night, I weighed myself again… another 8 pounds gone.

In just 16 days, I went from 160 lbs to 130 lbs.

I’ve been fighting the fight with T1D for 8 years now. I went on to have a successful high school career playing three sports, and an even better college football career. Now, I work in fitness and I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been.

I’m sharing this because if you’re someone who doesn’t feel like they’re “normal,” or feels like you can’t do something because of Type 1 Diabetes, I’m here to tell you:

YOU CAN.

Keep fighting the fight 💪

WE’RE MARRIED!!! 💍 🥂 the most perfect day surrounded by the most loving people by @bwen_5

one year down, took it to hawai’i by @bwen_5

Everyone wants a better life, but not everyone is willing to change how they live.

We live in a world where comfort is easy, distractions are everywhere, and instant gratification is normal.

And honestly, I think that’s why getting uncomfortable matters more than ever

Get up when you don’t feel like it.
Train when you’d rather stay home.
Keep the promises you make to yourself.
Do the work.

Not because you have something to prove.

But because we all know we are capable of more.

At the end of the day, you have to live with the person you’re becoming.

Make sure you’re proud of that version of yourself

Happy birthday to my beautiful wife 🤍🤍

One of the greatest blessings of my life isn’t just getting to call you my wife… it’s getting to carry the title of husband because of you. I’ll never take that for granted.

I admire so much about you: your beauty, your thoughtfulness, your heart, and the way you genuinely care for the people around you. You have a way of making people feel loved, seen, and important, and I’m lucky enough to experience that every day.

Happy birthday, I love you more than words can explain. by @bwen_5

Never underestimate a wife’s intuition.

BRO LIFT FRIDAY! 💪

A little switch up from marathon training!!

Another reason why I use the @1stPhorm app is because I can track one off workouts like this without messing up my marathon plan.

Strength is still part of the process, and today’s workout was about maintaining strength!

If you saw my post the other day, you know marathon training has basically taken over my life. 😂🏃‍♂️

Knocked out 5 miles today with @willminton97 .

Something I look forward to after every run is:
💥 Phormula-1 Clear
💥 Creatine
💥 Ignition

It’s helping me recover better, keep soreness to a minimum, and be ready to get right back after it the next day
