Exciting news! Join us today at 6:30 p.m. in the Art Quad Great Room for a special talk with Bridget O'Brien, our Teaching Fellow in Painting and Drawing. Bridget will share insights into her background, artistic practice, and creative process. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about her work and engage with a talented artist and educator.

Bridget O'Brien (b.1997) is a Canadian-American multidisciplinary artist working predominantly in plein-air painting and community-based practice. She holds a BFA from Purdue University, certifications from the New York Academy of Art, and an MFA from Indiana University (2026). O'Brien has exhibited nationally and internationally, including a recent solo show at the Waldron Arts Center in Bloomington, IN, and group shows at Microscope Gallery, NY, and ΕΚΘΕΣΗ ΤΕΧΝΗΣ Gallery in Agios Ioannis, Crete, Greece. O'Brien often collaborates with regional land trusts and environmental scientists in the Midwest to explore painting's unique emotional capacity for visually communicating both biodiversity loss, and environmental resilience, in Erie and Maumee Watershed habitats.

See you there!

Art shows sometimes feel like weird birthday parties — my thesis felt like crowd surfing at my own funeral 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️🏄 To all the folks who traveled, stuck around and threw down for an incredible weekend, thank you.

I have no words for the generosity of my friends and family. Instagram diary…. Zuckeyburgs, if you’re listening….it’s me, Margaret…. the most grateful gal on the planet #art
