俱留尊山 hike log (june 1st 2026)i thought i was walking a lot as i was very much struggling because of the heat (and mild hungover) but it was only a 5.5km hike. it was my second time hiking here but the first time was in the fall, so it was nice to see the green highlands. before going into the trees after the stairs, it gets burning hot on a sunny day because all the air gets trapped by the pond :( when i came back to my car, my pocari sweat was hot. the hike begins with a huge set of stairs and then it gradually gets steep towards the peak, except there are 2 peaks so you go up to go down and up again. i wish i did the loop but that’s for some another time :p#hike #mountain #photography by @bxxsho

韓国岳 hike log (may 20th 2026) the whole time i was in kyushu except the 2 days in hakata, the weather had been so moody, but we managed to do a hike on a day that was supposed to be cloudy. it was raining a tiny bit when we started hiking up but it eventually stopped and as we went up further everything was covered in thick fog. on a nice clear day you should be able to oversee a beautiful caldera lake, which is the one that i managed to capture in the first slide.throughout the hike we didn’t get to see much view (😅) but the forest was so misty and beautiful, and as we did the loop around the caldera lake, we saw the lake in bits as the fog got cleared out by the wind. we also saw an active volcano at the start of the hike so that was awesome 🤩 would 100% do this hike again but on a sunny day hopefully …#kyushu #photography #hike #霧島錦江湾国立公園 by @bxxsho

4/14 大堂海岸 climbi’ve been trying to plan a climbing trip out in shikoku for months and the trip finally made it out of the group chat… we initially had 3 days of climbing planned but we didn’t get the best luck with the weather. we still managed to have one day of climbing which was this crack climbing wall in Kochi! We parked our car on the side of the road to hike down this path that’s almost not existing, walked down in the bush and went over some rocky bits before we got to the wall. Lucas the unofficial climbing guide assessed the wall situation and there he was up on the wall leading. i didn’t have my camera out much on this trip but climbing was the bit i wanted to capture the most because i told myself i’d document my outdoor adventures more. i’m very happy with the moments i captured and photos like these remind me of why i bring my camera to places. still need more improvement on my climbing but at least photography part is covered 😉😉#climb #shikoku #photography by @bxxsho
