there are reasons we find ourselves at peace in nature and why we love to shoot outside. the wind in images make us feel like we were there, and direct sunlight can be felt as warming skin and a softer smile. it’s forest bathing [shinrin-yoku], the practice of letting the wild recalibrate you.

there are elements of japan in this photo story, highlighting the japanese poplin fabric of the sucia set that actually make it universal. we know and love the luxury of a clean and structured button down. it can be professional, sexy, and as natural as we are walking around the coast of the pacific northwest shores. we feel at home here, this is why we chose to make art where we feel comfortable being alive.
