the best gatherings are shaped by the people who attend them

that belief and the idea that we all have something to learn from each other’s ideas, interests and experiences, is what drives gather by jello

jordan by jello is an experiment, inviting people to host something, join something, meet new people, try new things and see what happens… more cities to come 🫂🪼

this is not a music festival 🫢

but music matters to us (a lot) and to our jello community

here are the incredible artists who will be sharing their sounds in ahangama from dec 30 to jan 04, alongside a program of movement, workshops, learning, play and small shared moments throughout the week.

for the following week, we’ll slow down, co-work, co-live with some programming from jan 04 - jan 11.

registrations close on dec 1 🪼we are close to capacity

what happens when a city helps create its own social calendar?

jordan by jello is an experiment in bringing people together through experiences created by the community.

we built a website where anyone can submit an idea, host a gathering, or join something already on the shared calendar.

a meal, a workshop, a hike, a listening session, a film, a game, a party, or something we haven’t thought of yet.

the point is to meet new people, step outside your comfort zone, share what you care about and try something you might not usually do.

some experiences are created by jello, but most will come from people willing to try something, put an idea out there and bring others together.

@by.jello and @threads_and_thrills_ are two projects focused on creating music-led gatherings, working across residencies, retreats and festivals, as well as more intimate dancefloor settings.

At the beginning of the year, we travelled to Ahangama, Sri Lanka, where we worked together to record a handful of DJ sets.

The full sets are now available on our YouTube channel. taken in Ahangama , Sri Lanka by @by.jello

this thursday, feb 12th, we’re gathering under the trees at Nasab for an intimate concert and listening experience

Kamal Musallam presents a special fusion trio with
꩜ Soren Hansen on double bass and cello
꩜ Sandeepan on indian tabla and percussions
꩜ Kamal Musallam on oud and guitar

Kamal’s original arabic fusion compositions are reworked live with indian rhythms from Sandeepan and western classical elements from Soren. a unique combination, experimented live, and experienced one time, together.

we’re excited for an evening of excellent music, great company, in a beautiful setting in the amphitheater, amongst the trees and with delicious food provided by @lowedxb throughout the event

gratitude for our second new year by jello

thank you to our core crew. hiba, roy, aboud, for carrying the weight of a thousand details and turning it into light and magic for us all

thank you to our guests, for trusting us with your days to nights. from surf to side quests to dance floors. this community is special because you make it safe, warm, intimate, and free

thank you to our artists, co-creators and contributors for pouring your hearts into hosting, holding, and sharing your craft and creativity

thank you to the volunteer crew for giving your time and energy to build, design, care for guests/artists/environment, and keeping everything feeling so jello

and lastly, thank you to our partners on the ground for the openness, care, and ease you brought. working with you was a joy, and everything flowed because of it

the jelloverse is made up of a million stars (all of you reading this), and we can’t wait to see you at the next jiggle, or maybe sooner? 🪼

Alright — doors open.
Not wide, just enough for those who notice.

We won’t say much. We like the mystery.
It’s sweeter when discovered, not explained.

We’ll be there — music breathing, lights low, minds open, hearts loose.
Come if it calls you. Stay if it holds you.

Few spots remaining!!
We’ll try to keep a spot warm for you, but it’s not guaranteed.

Seek you soon!
Ciao. ✨ by @by.jello
