Semester 01, Final Project - Personal Space for Olivia Rodrigo

— Loud Metamorphosis is a haven curated for Miss Olivia Rodrigo which design emphasises on loud bold colours, retro pop style, with organic shapes which reflects the butterfly. This design utilises each space provided with multifunctional furniture creating a comfortable compact living for the star.

when i knew i had the power to choose whichever client, of course i wanted to pick someone im passionate for with a clear identity and strong character. Olivia Rodrigo was the perfect match and im soooooo glad her being my client was approved by my lecturer

lowkey super proud of this work, major props to miss shasha for guiding me alll the way from A to Z. Didn’t really completed it all on the day but i was able to make up for it during the review day. doing manual work was not an easy task but it really made me more disciplined and taught me the importance of time management.

looking back i wouldn’t change a thing, I faced many trials and tribulations along the way but it all paid offff 💜❤️ by @by.riq

— my 1st semester final presentation. personal space and the client chosen is none other than olivia rodrigo.

a little story behind this day - i accidentally slept the night and ny lecturer had to call me that morning. so i woke up crying with an unfinished project 😭

looking back i was too hard on myself. i actually did such a good work except for my model which is not here cus it was too bad haha. go little rockstar! by @by.riq

— bts of my theme space project! initially i romanticised studying ID but as the time goes by i figured that it’s a sleepless nightmare with an empty wallet and back pain 😭 im kidding, presentation day always excites me. also attached are pics of some of my classmates work!! i kid you not, we dont mess when it comes to the presentation day by @by.riq

Semester 01, Project 03: Theme Space

— this was probably our first ever interior design project. looking back it didnt seem like much, but i remember it being such a stressful-exciting experience :’) I really learnt how to work collaboratively and how to solve issues independently. mightve crashed out before the presentation and talked too fast but thats that!

This was inspired by the Netflix Bridgerton. We had to come up with a living area design with elements of the english classic style. A fireplace placed as the focal point of the area infront of the seating area. French doors on both left and right side of the room, allowing natural lighting inside, and high curtains giving the space a grand feel.

We had so much fun exploring what to incorporate in our design, from colours, to wallpaper ,to materials and furniture. I thank Fien, Mas and rin for making this an unforgettable experience (so sweet, am i right? ><) by @by.riq

— design principles assignment. probably byfar my least favorite assignment throughout my whole diploma so far 😞 it was so time consuming and my backpain… oh my goodness, i was in total agony.

however, the colour wheel assignment was very fun and therapeutic. alhamdulillah my work was neatt by @by.riq

— my first few assignments during my first semester! looking back, i really strived for perfectionism. i remember sacrificing sleep almost every night when in fact, i really just needed to managar my time well. thsoe continuous sleepless nights were torture :’) by @by.riq

hello! ezzriq here :) ill be sharing my journey throughout my studies showcasing projects, mess and stress here and id like for you guys (my loved ones) to tag along.

trust! i will be active on here, especially during my following semesters. despite all the pressure and the lack of time, ill try to capture every moment.

one day ill look back to this and realise how much ive grown and learnt.hopefully ezzriq becomes a successtul interior designer with his own company one dayy!!
