AirPods 4 case.
Made from Italian Buttero leather, known for its rich texture and demanding character, especially in small-scale work.
A small loop for a carabiner was added for everyday use, so your headphones are always close at hand.

Returning after a pause to where it all began.
A slim 2.3 cm belt.
Especially fond of this width with high-waisted trousers - when a belt is no longer just about function, but about the aesthetics of an accessory.

Belt.

Eyeglass case.
I’ve wanted to try this format for a while. It’s fascinating how a single layer of leather can create shape and structure.
Still, I added an inner layer to the flap – to move away from the raw look and reduce the exposed suede.
Inside, there’s a small “nose” element that keeps the glasses in place and protects them from the snap pressure.
And once again, I can’t get enough of these shifting textures in crazy horse leather. It’s alive.

Чохол для окулярів.
Давно хотів попрацювати з цим форматом. Захоплює ідея створити об’єм і форму з єдиного шару шкіри.
Втім, для клапана закриття я додав внутрішній шар – хотілося трохи відійти від raw-естетики та відкритої бахтарми.
Усередині – додатковий елемент-“носик”, що фіксує окуляри та створює барʼєр для захисту при натисканні кнопки.

Tobacco pouch
It was interesting to work with a multi-layered construction: a top pocket with slots for rolling papers, a full-length main pocket for the tobacco pack, and a lower one for filters or a lighter.
The snaps are hidden between the layers to keep the exterior as minimalistic as possible and let the texture and color of this Crazy Horse leather speak for themselves.

Було цікаво попрацювати з багатошаровою конструкцією: верхня кишеня з прорізами для паперу, основна на всю довжину для пачки з тютюном та нижня — для фільтрів чи запальнички.
Кнопки сховав між шарами, щоб залишити зовнішній вигляд максимально мінімалістичним і дати текстурі та кольору цього Crazy Horse головний акцент. Punch tool case.
I wanted to make a proper, dedicated spot for these two.
It was my first time working with shaped pockets on a flat surface – it gave the tools a snug fit and added form to the piece as a whole.
To avoid stressing the main layer, I added a separate leather strip for the snap closure.
Altogether, it feels like a solid balance of function and aesthetics.I’m really satisfied with this one.

Чохол для пробійників.
Захотілося зробити для цих двох окреме, зручне місце.
Вперше працював із обʼємними кишенями на плоскій основі – це дало не лише щільну посадку для інструментів, а й додало форми виробу загалом.
Щоб не навантажувати основний шар, для кріплення кнопки додав окрему смугу шкіри.

Like many beginners, I started out with budget diamond-shaped pricking irons. I tried a few options, sharpened and polished them at home, but could never quite get the result I was aiming for.
Still, that stage gave me valuable lessons in adapting to the tools I had.
Now I’ve switched to the French-style set. For its price and performance, it opened up a whole new level of precision.
Let’s say I’m on my way to that clean, balanced saddle stitch I’ve been chasing.

Як і багато хто, я починав із бюджетних ромбовидних пробійників – спробував кілька варіантів, точив, полірував, та все одно щось було не так.
Зате цей період дав розуміння: як планувати шов, як краще використати наявні інструменти, і що саме для мене означає «акуратність».
Зараз мій вибір пав на ці французькі пробійники – у їхньому балансі ціни та якості я вперше відчув інший рівень роботи. Sheath for the kiridashi.

Unlike the previous knife, this one demands more attention to structure, fit, and retention.
I decided to go with a strap-lock design to secure the blade inside.
Additionally, I added an internal layer on both sides, shaped to the blade, to ensure a tight fit.
It was interesting to work through these new nuances.
In the end – my first piece with light thread.
My final piece using the old pricking irons, where every stitch was a battle for force and symmetry.
And a new home for my kiridashi by @bahtarma.shop

Чохол для кірідаші
На відміну від попереднього ножа, цей вимагав більшої уваги до архітектури, посадки та фіксації. Я вирішив зробити варіант із ремінцем-замком, який надійно тримає ніж усередині.
Додатково знадобився окремий внутрішній шар по формі леза з обох боків - аби створити щільну посадку.
Було цікаво попрацювати з такими нюансами.
У результаті – мій перший виріб зі світлою ниткою. Мій останній виріб зі старими пробійниками, з якими кожного разу – бій за силу та симетрію.

A new knife. A new stage.
Craft keeps changing how I see things – materials, motions, tools. It all becomes part of the ritual. Especially the knife.
I hope this one truly becomes mine and stays for a long journey ahead.
But every knife needs a home. So I think I already know what the next piece will be.
Kiridashi – a traditional Japanese craft knife. Single-bevel, slanted blade.

Новий ніж. Новий етап.
Ремесло поступово вчить бачити інакше – матеріали, рухи, інструменти. Все стає частиною процесу. Особливо ніж.
Сподіваюсь, він справді стане «своїм» і лишиться надовго.
А ще ножу треба дім. Тому, здається, я знаю, який виріб буде наступним.
