olivia rodrigo commissioned small artists for her album rollout!!! from her lyric videos to the handmade set and props of the cure 💗💗

as a clay artist i feel so inspired to see just how much handmade work went into this album and the level of craftsmanship and quality inspires me to keep growing in my own craft 🥺

the music video for the cure had me OBSESSED and so i made a claymation video inspired by it 🪡🧶🫀i am in constant awe of @oliviarodrigo @bead.lizard and all of the artists involved!!!

how to make mixed media videos 🌀⭐️💖

1. record your video!! i used photobooth on my mac
2. upload video to ezgif.com and turn them into jpg frames 🎞️🎞️
3. print and doodle 🖍️
4. scan back into your computer
5. stitch all the frames back together and add music 🎵🎧🎸

thanks for all the 🫶🏼 on my animation :)) i never drew or painted as a kid so this something different and fun for me to try! if u make a video id love to see :)

i’ve been feeling sick of all the generative ai slop on my feed and have felt more and more drawn to making physical art 👩🏻‍🎨👩🏻‍🎨 (besides the two digital projects i worked on hehe)

sometimes i feel like i need to jump on the ai train because i work in tech… but as an artist, i physically recoil at the normalisation of it in creative spaces 😀

but on a more positive note i feel so grateful and fulfilled lately that i could carve out time to make more art and let myself be a beginner again :”) reminding myself constantly to just make it exist first and that i can make it good later !!
