My very first time harvesting lavender from the yard!!
I’ve always wanted to grow it and have never been successful but my shitty front yard soil has proven to be perfect!
The smell is Heaven fly and I’m so delighted. What a joy! by @by_erinkate

I can look back on most of my creations and how I would have tweaked them to be different or just a tad better. There are arrangements I look back on with a lot of embarrassment and some I beam at still. Some I never photographed and should have, some I did and wish I hadn’t.
.
If we waited until we were really exceptional at something we would probably never start and we would most certainly never become exceptional.
.
What I am confident in is that the next one is usually the best one yet…in its own way. And someday, I could look back and think, “why did I think THAT was so great!?” But honestly, if I spent my time dwelling on things outside of my control I’d never leave my bed.
.
The best is yet to come! Looking forward to a few projects I have lined up for 2026 and the harvest from it all by @by_erinkate
