Some days, you don't have a powerful lesson to share. You don't have everything figured out. You just have tears in your eyes, a heavy heart, and a dua you keep repeating. And that's okay. 🤍

You are allowed to have hard days. You're allowed to feel overwhelmed, to cry, to feel tired of waiting, and still turn to Allah with the same request you've been making for months or even years.

And please, don't mistake asking Allah again and again for a lack of faith.

Look at Hazrat Musa (AS). He turned to Allah with his needs, spoke honestly about his struggles, and asked Him for help. In Surah Taha, he prayed for his chest to be expanded, his task to be made easy, and his speech to be understood.

He didn't hide his need for Allah.

In fact, one of the most beautiful duas of Hazrat Musa (AS) is:

“My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.” Qur'an 28:24

He acknowledged his need openly. No pretending to be self-sufficient. No hiding his vulnerability from the One who created him.

So if there's something your heart keeps asking Allah for, keep asking. Come to Him on your good days and your terrible ones. Come with your confidence and your tears. Come when your faith feels strong and when all you can manage is a whisper.

You don't have to pretend you're okay in front of Allah.

Keep making dua. Keep striving. And never feel ashamed of how desperately you need Him. 🤍

May Allah make our difficult days easier, our hearts steadier, and our duas a source of closeness to Him. Ameen.

Qur'an reference: Surah Al-Qasas 28:24 and Surah Taha 20:25–28.

[Allah, making dua during hard times, crying and praying to Allah, keep asking Allah, Hazrat Musa dua, Quranic duas, trusting Allah during hardships, Islamic reminders, difficult days and faith, never lose hope in Allah]

There was a time when I genuinely couldn’t understand why Allah was allowing certain things to happen in my life.

A miscarriage. Financial loss. Extremely stressful pregnancy. Plans falling apart. Doors closing when I thought they were finally opening. And honestly, there were moments when sabr felt less like patience and more like simply surviving the day.

But somewhere along the way, I realised that an imtehaan doesn’t always come with an explanation. Sometimes all you can do is hold onto Allah even when you don’t understand His plan.

I’m still learning that a delay isn’t necessarily a denial, a closed door isn’t necessarily a rejection, and losing something doesn’t always mean Allah has abandoned you.

Some chapters hurt while you’re living them. You only understand their purpose much later.

So if you’re going through something right now that you never asked for, I hope you remember this: Allah sees the tears you don’t explain to anyone. He knows the prayers you can’t even put into words. And He knows exactly what your heart can’t see yet.

I don’t have a perfect “everything worked out” ending to this story. I’m still rebuilding. Still waiting. Still making dua.

But I’m here. And I’m still choosing to trust Allah. 🤍

Maybe that’s what sabr really looks like sometimes, not having all the answers, just refusing to let go of the One who does.

“Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” Qur’an 2:153

If you’re in an imtehaan of your own, may Allah make it lighter for you, replace every loss with something better, and give you the kind of peace that makes you understand why you had to wait.

Ameen. ❤️

Let’s start this Monday with immense hope and yaqeen in Allah. 🤍

If you’re in a waiting phase right now, I hope you remember this: sabr doesn’t mean you stop hurting. You’re allowed to cry. You’re allowed to feel the weight of what you’re going through. You’re allowed to have difficult days and still have complete faith in Allah.

Look at Hazrat Yaqub (عليه السلام). He cried so much over the separation from Hazrat Yusuf (عليه السلام) that his eyes became white from grief. Yet his pain never made him lose hope in Allah.

“فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ” — “So beautiful patience.”
(Surah Yusuf 12:18)

Maybe sabr is not about pretending everything is okay. Maybe it is about hurting, crying, waiting… and still whispering, “Ya Allah, I trust You.”

Whatever you’re waiting for, may Allah make the wait worthwhile, replace your uncertainty with peace, and give you something even more beautiful than what you were asking for. Ameen. 🤲🏻

Keep going. Your story isn’t over yet. 🤍

One thing I’ve been noticing while learning about the lives of the Prophets is this pattern: Allah’s help came, and the way forward unfolded, even when the situation seemed impossible.

Look at Prophet Ibrahim (AS), when he submitted to Allah’s command. Prophet Ismail (AS), when he too showed complete submission. Prophet Musa (AS), when he stood before the sea with nowhere to go. Prophet Yunus (AS), when he called upon Allah from the depths of darkness.

Their circumstances were different, but their stories remind us of something profound: our relationship with Allah cannot depend on how quickly our circumstances change.

Sometimes, we keep asking Allah to change our situation, remove the uncertainty, show us the way, and give us the outcome we’ve been praying for. But perhaps, in the middle of all that asking, we forget to surrender the one thing we keep trying to control: the outcome itself.

Bandagi isn't just praying when we need something. It's trusting Allah when we don't understand. It's continuing to strive when the road feels uncertain. It's obeying Him even when our hearts are afraid. And it's believing that we don't need to know how Allah will make a way to trust that He is قادر (Qadir).

Allah says:

“And whoever relies upon Allah, then He is sufficient for him.” Qur’an 65:3

Maybe the lesson isn't that every test ends as soon as we surrender. The Prophets endured hardship, grief and long periods of waiting. The lesson is that our submission shouldn't be conditional on receiving the outcome we want.

We make dua. We take the means. We keep trying. And then, we place what is beyond our control in the hands of the One who knows what we cannot see.

That is Tawakkul. That is Bandagi. That is submission. 🤍

Ya Allah, teach our hearts to trust You even when we cannot understand Your plan. Ameen.

Save this for the days when your test feels longer than your patience.

Monday Reflection: What if one of the most underrated ways to seek Allah’s help is through the way you show up for others?

We spend so much time looking for the perfect wazifa, the right words, the next amal… but how often do we pay attention to the good we can actually DO?

Help someone when you can. Share what you have, even if it seems insignificant. Make things easier for someone. Speak kindly to a person who needs it. Stand up for someone who cannot stand up for themselves. Make dua for someone without them ever knowing.

And don't underestimate the little things.

You don't have to be rich to give. You don't need a platform to make a difference. You don't need to change someone's entire life to be a source of goodness in it.

Sometimes, it's a small act of kindness that you barely remember, but the person on the receiving end never forgets.

Allah says in the Qur'an:

“And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.”
Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:195

And the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Allah is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother.”
Sahih Muslim 2699a

The next time you get an opportunity to help someone, don't dismiss it because it seems too small to matter.

Do the good you can, where you can, with what you have. Make it a daily habit, not something you do only when you're asking Allah for something.

You never know which small act of goodness might become a means of Allah's mercy finding its way into your life. 🤍

Save this as a reminder, and send it to someone who needs to hear it. ✨

They can keep waiting. I know what Allah has given me, what He has brought me through, and how many of my once-upon-a-time duas have become my reality. 🤍

Life is still a work in progress, and I still have so much to figure out. But how could I ever call myself defeated when I'm already living pieces of the life I once prayed for?

Some blessings are so precious, they make you realise that even if everything isn't perfect, you still have so much to be grateful for.

Alhamdulillah, always. Ya Allah, never let me become so consumed by what I'm waiting for that I forget to appreciate what You've already given me. 🥹🤍

We make dua, recite wazayif, do our azkar, and wait for things to change. But somewhere along the way, we forget that dua was never meant to replace our effort. 🤍

Wazayif and azkar can be a means of remembrance, worship, and drawing closer to Allah. But they aren't shortcuts that guarantee we get everything we ask for, exactly when we want it.

Sometimes, the very thing we're praying for requires us to take that first uncomfortable step. To keep trying when it's difficult. To change what needs changing. To show up even when we're scared, exhausted, or unsure of the outcome.

Allah says in the Qur'an:

“And that each person will only have what they endeavoured towards.”
Surah An-Najm, 53:39

Make your dua. Keep your azkar. Ask Allah for what your heart longs for. But don't forget to do your part, too.

Tawakkul is trusting Allah with the outcome while still putting in the effort. You can surrender the result without surrendering your responsibility to try.

And remember, striving doesn't mean you can force a particular outcome or that every unanswered dua is a reflection of insufficient effort. We do what we can, ask Allah for what we need, and trust His wisdom with what is beyond us. 🥹🤍

Maybe you don't need another wazifa today. Maybe you need to take that first step.

Save this as a reminder for the days you feel stuck.

My son taught me what tawakkul actually looks like.

Zayn was scared to fall.

He hesitated, he was nervous… but when I told him, “Trust me, I’ve got you,” he eventually let go.

And somehow, watching him trust me while he was still afraid made me think about how Allah asks us to trust Him.

Not because we’re never scared.
Not because we can see what’s waiting for us.
But because we know Who is holding us.

Sometimes tawakkul isn’t the absence of fear.

It’s being afraid and still choosing to trust Allah. 🤍

Maybe you’re standing at the edge of something right now, wondering what happens if you let go.

You don’t have to stop being afraid first.

Just trust the One who already knows where you’re going.

It's Tuesday & we are finally finishing the stages of dua to get answered. Please note all these stages, observations are solely based on my own personal experiences and learning. Everyone has a different journey, different spiritual perception and beliefs.

So, If you’ve been making dua, putting in the effort, waiting patiently… and somehow, nothing seems to be working out, maybe this is the part you need to hear. 🤍

There comes a point in every dua where you have to stop trying to control how Allah will answer you.

You’ve asked.
You’ve tried.
You’ve cried.
You’ve waited.
You’ve done whatever was in your capacity.

And then comes submission.

Not giving up on your dua.
Not assuming it won’t happen.
Not becoming passive about your life.

But surrendering the timing, method and outcome to Allah.

Because tawakkul isn’t saying, “I know exactly how this will work out.”

It’s saying, “I don’t know how, but I trust the One who does.”

Sometimes the answer comes in the form we expected. Sometimes Allah changes the circumstances first. Sometimes a door closes that we were desperately trying to keep open. And sometimes the answer takes longer because there is a time we simply cannot see yet.

Our job is to keep asking, keep doing our part, keep our intentions sincere and then leave what is beyond us to Allah.

A dua is not a magic formula where we recite something a certain number of times and demand an immediate outcome.

It is a conversation with Allah, an act of hope, worship and trust.

So if you’re in that phase where you’ve done everything you can and nothing seems to be moving…

Maybe you don’t need to do more. Maybe you need to surrender more. 🤍

Allah knows what you’re asking for, why you’re asking for it, and when it is truly best for you.

dua, making dua, dua acceptance, when dua is not answered, unanswered dua, dua and tawakkul, tawakkul in Islam, trusting Allah, trust Allah’s timing, Allah’s timing, patience in Islam, sabr and tawakkul, surrender to Allah, submitting to Allah, trusting Allah’s plan, power of dua, Islamic reminder
