A very experimental image:
Taken on my way to Milford Sound / Piopiotahi in Fiordland.
On this day the weather was so permitting, allowing me to capture a beautiful reflection of the landscape on the water and a gorgeous haze in the middle ground of the image.
When I was exposing my image in the darkroom, I noticed that some light had unfortunately entered my film on either side of the image, so I lost a lot of contrast.
It took me a while to get this image to where it is now, with about 15–20 exposures to reach the final product, along with A LOT of dodging, burning, and some cropping. #photography #blackandwhite #newzealand #darkroomprint by @byadrianales

One of my favorite images captured during my road trip through the South Island of New Zealand.

Shot on a Nikon F-55 with Ilford HP5 400 film, self-developed and exposed on Ilford Multigrade paper.

I completed my first successful Polaroid emulsion transfer today.

This process involves separating the gelatin layer of the Polaroid and placing it into a hot water bath to remove the backing. Once the backing is removed, the image is transferred into a cold water bath, allowing it to be moved onto a new surface. #polaroidemulsionlift #blackandwhite #photography by @byadrianales
