In September 2024, I moved Chicago, alone, not knowing anyone in the city.

I took my creative agency full time the year prior, and was itching for something more. I had a full roster of clients, and made my move to Chicago. I was excited to scout new clients in the city, while commuting to shoot for my existing clientele.

Life had a different plan when I met with @beatriz.kauffmann my second day in the city, after dm’ing the @pie account to potentially create content for their page. I figured I was the perfect target audience, as it’s an app for meeting new people, which was exactly what I was trying to figure out how to do.

I met @dunn and the whole Pie team that week and what was going to be a potential client turned into a job offer by day four. By day five and my first day on the job, I was on a flight to Utah with the team, scared out of my mind that I was in over my head.

In the past two years at Pie, I went from social media associate, to head of social, to product design, to head of community and social. I worked alongside a brilliant team, and learned so so much. I had the opportunity to travel, connect with incredible community gatherers and content creators. I got to lead a podcast, host influencer dinners in NYC, LA, San Francisco, Austin and more, speak on panels and challenge myself in ways I never had before.

I’ll always cherish my time at Pie, the connections I made and the person I became through my journey there.

I’ve been an artist for my entire life, and as I reconnected with that side of me, I found ways to connect it with my love for video, social media, and marketing. I taught myself how to animate, combine physical and digital art, I opened a print shop, started a monthly subscription-based print club, and connected them all to share things that can’t be expressed with words alone. I’ve now worked with musicians, national and international brands, and hosted my first and second solo art exhibits.

painting my new @outin.inc.official Nano ☕️

I drink so much coffee while I paint, so I went for a splotchy ink pattern that represents the messy painting process, spilled coffee, or both.

I adore how it turned out, and a little witchy too ☁️🕷️

thank you @outin.inc.official ☕️ by @bybridgecreative

#ad I tried @TheOrdinary Lacto-PDRN* 4% + B9 Eye Cream and documented my before + after at 30 minutes. Made with vegan PDRN, it’s a firming eye cream that visibly lifts and tightens the eye area.
