Daddy had a very special audience yesterday. 🥹📚

Brandon got to be the guest reader in Briana’s class, and it just so happened to fall during her week as class leader. So our girl had the best seat in the house right beside Daddy, teddy bear and all. 😂🧸

It’s the little things like this that I know she’ll remember: Mommy and Daddy showing up, being present, and taking part in the little world she’s creating outside of home.

And judging by that look on her face, I think she was pretty proud to have her daddy in her classroom. 🥰

Our sweet girl officially started dance today! 🩰💕

Of course, that meant I had to pull out the archives. 😂 My mom and grandma kept EVERYTHING, so somewhere along the way my old dance shoes made their way back to me.

I started dancing when I was 3, too, so naturally I had to put on my last pair of tap shoes to show Briana that Mommy used to have a little something. Now, the footage of that performance? Y’all are going to have to pay for that. 😂😂

The tiny shoes are Briana’s, but everything else is a little piece of family history. The green “Wanda’s School of Dance” bag was mine, although apparently Briana has already decided she prefers the pink and purple one, which I think may have actually belonged to my sister.

There’s something really sweet about watching your baby begin something you loved at her age... and seeing her little dance shoes sitting next to the ones your mom (aka Yaya) and grandma (aka granny) saved all these years. 🥹

Looking back on our wedding day reminds us just how grateful we are for this love, this life, and all that God has done for us and blessed us with over these past five years.

Couldn’t have chosen a better partner to do life with.

Young, Wild & Three — and loved beyond measure 🦒🐘🐒

A few weekends ago, we celebrated Briana’s 3rd birthday in a room full of her people - 32 of her “cousins,” and just as many adults made up of her grandparents, aunties, uncles, and loved ones.

So grateful for our village - the friends we’ve chosen as family - who showed up in such a big way to celebrate our girl 🤍

This weekend our brother and Briana’s Parrain defended his title at the @lsucarolinas Gumbo Cookoff! He’s now the 2025 and 2026 @lsucarolinas Gumbo Cookoff Winner! Congrats @c_m_brisk! And thanks to our 20 or so family and friends who came to hang out with us and have a lil taste of Louisiana! by @bybrisco

LA Adventure Dump… Days 6/7 of 7! Soooo thankful for ashley4god and @jrramz82 because they allowed us to have a kid free night. While we were enjoying being audience members of @jimmykimmellive for the Samuel L. Jackson episode, Briana was having fun with her cousins doing arts and crafts, eating ice cream, and dancing the night away!

This trip turned out to be really eventful despite my lack of planning! We missed out on seeing a couple of our friends but don’t worry we will be back! taken in Jimmy Kimmel Live by @bybrisco
