The Power Of Pink -1960s shoot

In the 60s we saw pink becoming a popular colour with First Lady Jackie Kennedy wearing a “candy-pink evening dress to host André Malraux at the White House” Steele (2018). Diana Vreeland the then editor of Vogue dedicated 20 pages to pink.

The Power Of Pink - images captured on a 1930s box 🎞️
In the 1930s 2 shades of pink that had been introduced into fashion were Mexican Pink and Schiaparelli Pink. Mexican pink was introduced into fashion by designer Valdiosera who was said to have been “inspired by the bright pink flowers of the bougainvillea plant” Yucatan Times (2023).

Millie literally has skin goals, I didn’t want to cover her face with too much foundation as she has the most beautiful freckles and I wanted that to show through the make up, I literally just used the tiniest bit of @maccosmeticsuki face and body as a light base.
