Big news for @terrakaffe ! The Demi has been named a @goodhousekeeping 2027 Kitchen Awards winner in the Countertop Appliances category ☕️

So proud of this team and this little machine 🤍 Congrats to @sdilmaghani and the whole Terra Kaffe team by @bycaro.co

“Sometimes I don’t need to clean the entire apartment—I just need the area around the kitchen island dealt with before someone comes over. Matic’s spot-cleaning feature lets me mark a specific mess in the app and send it there, but its newer Cues feature makes the whole thing considerably more futuristic. I can say “Hey Matic” and tell it what to clean or even have it follow me to the offending crumbs and point them out.”

“Matic looks more like a tiny rover than a traditional robot vacuum, with tall wheels and five cameras that help it see what surrounds it. Instead of blindly bumping its way around furniture, it creates a 3D map of your home and distinguishes between things like rugs, hard flooring, cords, shoes, and pet toys.”

“The novelty of watching a robot vacuum clean usually wears off pretty quickly, but I still find myself observing Matic as it moves around my apartment. There’s a smoothness and precision to it that feels noticeably different from others I’ve owned.”

“Matic cleans in rounds, tackling interiors, edges, and the recessed toe-kicks and adjusting its approach depending on the floor type. It seems to consider one little zone, thoroughly deal with it, and then move on to the next.“

“You can schedule it to clean while you’re out and come home to one less chore waiting for you.“ by @bycaro.co

Introducing Raazi Wellness: three herbal blends—Digest, Glow, and Rest—to support your daily ritual and invite you to slow down.

While many wellness routines demand another powder, supplement, or high-performance step, Raazi Wellness goes back to the basics – just a flavorful cup of whole-plant tea using ingredients as old as time. It’s a small, grounding ritual (that also looks great displayed on the countertop).

Congrats to @arj and the @raazitea team on the launch! 🌱🫖 by @bycaro.co

Congratulations to @terrakaffe & @maticrobots for being recognized in @dominomag ‘s 2026 Good Design Awards! 🏆 by @bycaro.co

Meet The Essential: @roccofridge ‘s most accessible drinks fridge yet. 🍸

A year in the making and built from the ground up for a more streamlined, contemporary setup, it’s still exceptionally quiet, still doubles as a bar cart, and gets even colder than the original.

Launching today with early-access pricing at $1,095. First shipments arrive mid-September.

On today’s episode, I sit down with @caroline.mckay, founder of @bycaro.co, a boutique PR agency focused on design, hospitality, and CPG brands.

As I was preparing for this conversation, I realized that despite working with PR firms fairly regularly through the show, I only had a surface-level understanding of what they actually do day to day and how much goes into the work.

Thanks to Caroline, I can confidently say that's no longer the case.

In this conversation, we get into what makes a successful pitch, why even established clients still generate most of their opportunities through active pitching, and what a company needs to have in place before it’s really ready to invest in PR.

We also discuss Caro’s pricing and engagement model, its Office Hours subscription for earlier-stage companies, and how podcasts, Substack, affiliate content, and AI are changing the way people discover brands.

I learned so much during my conversation with Caroline and came away with a much clearer understanding of how the work actually gets done.

Last weekend at The Glass House annual summer party – a day of art, architecture, music, and performance across one of the most significant cultural sites in the country.

Presented by Knoll to introduce artist and designer Dozie Kanu, with generous support from Max Mara and additional support from the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, Design Within Reach, and Land Rover Darien, the event welcomed artists, architects, designers, collectors, cultural leaders, and distinguished guests for an immersive afternoon across the historic campus. Think: A Knoll design activation, an Italian Summer Café by Max Mara, music and dance programming by Saint Heron, a piano and vocal performance at the Pond Pavilion, and so much more.

The afternoon included DJ sets from Gio Escobar and a silent auction benefiting the site’s ongoing preservation efforts.

The Glass House is currently in the final chapter of a 20-year restoration, raising $2m to restore the pavilion on the pond and the Lincoln Kirstein monument.

Events like this are how historical sites like The Glass House stay alive, and we’re always honored to help tell the story every year.

The at-home café has become one of the most obsessed-over corners of the kitchen. Matcha rituals, cold foam recipes, and latte art tutorials seem to keep getting more creative, while the tools to achieve them have remained relatively stagnant.

Our client @terrakaffe just changed that with today’s official launch of Aero.

Aero is a Bauhaus-inspired milk frother designed for how people actually drink coffee (and matcha) today. It includes dedicated modes for hot froth, hot milk, cold foam, and a category-first matcha mode that features a custom whisk and temperature setting engineered to dissolve ceremonial-grade matcha instantly.

Aero, like all @terrakaffe products, is beautiful to display while satisfying and intuitive to use.

Most food brands go from IRL to D2C, but @lastcrumb did the opposite. They launched in LA in 2020 with a drop model (weekly releases of 400 to 500 boxes selling out in under ten seconds) and built one of the most waited-on brands in food.

Six years later, they’ve relocated to NYC and opened their first brick-and-mortar today in Williamsburg. The space, designed by @malherbeparis (the Parisian firm behind commissions for Dior and Daniel Boulud), follows Last Crumb’s signature all-black, grid-like aesthetic and feels like walking into one of their cookie boxes.

When asked “why NYC”, founder @djaeger15’s reasoning is that New Yorkers will always give you their honest thoughts on something. So far, the feedback has been great — proof in the last photo where a line formed at 10am for their 11am grand opening today.

Honored to support this opening for such afun and talented team!

A few favorite shots from the Before & After feature of our client @topangaaframe in @dwellmagazine

Every detail of this Topanga home renovation was intentional – skylights flooding handbuilt bathrooms, a zen den tucked into the crux of the A-frame, crushed crystals filling a cracked wood slab, and an underground wellness cave carved into the hillside. Owners, Austin and Deena, designed the home around calming the nervous system, and built it almost entirely by hand.

Even better that its bookable on @airbnb
