figured it could be helpful to actually have a post pinned that explains who i am! if you already know, pls feel free to ignore it!

anyway, hi, i’m Chloe!

i write books! sometimes about queer autistic teens, sometimes about queer autistic 20 year olds who are horrified they have to be adults. and usually there’s monsters with too many teeth!

when i’m not writing, i’m usually petting any animal that will let me, contemplating how many plushies is too many, or furthering the gay agenda.

🗡️🩸I HAVE AN AGENT!🩸🗡️

i am so beyond thrilled to announce that i am now represented by @sknigge at @highlineliterary! Sheyla’s vision for my trans monster hunter boarding school book set my brain on fire, and she has so much care for both my career and me as an author. when people say your agent should be your champion and your advocate, i feel like i now truly know what they mean. i am going to write the absolute best books i can, and i know Sheyla is going to do everything in her power to help me get those books out into the world.

i have so many people to thank, but i am terrified of forgetting to tag someone, so i am going to say thank you to my friends. to the people who shared their wisdom, who believed in me when i didn’t believe in myself, who listen to me whine and cry (a lot) and who celebrate with me, i love you guys so much. i could not have done this without you.

i am so thrilled to help @2furiosa reveal the cover of THE TALE OF THE BODY VALET, a pop thriller where the world’s biggest pop star needs a body valet, someone to wear her skin when she can’t take being herself.

alison is one of my favorite horror authors, and i cannot wait for her to become one of my favorite thriller authors on april 20, 2027! by @bychloemaron

apparently if you get me talking about bg3, i won’t stop.

also, i would like to say that i am not responding to reviews, but responding to discourse. which isn’t, better, but it is certainly a distinction. by @bychloemaron

the season of not sweating the second you start moving deserves to be celebrated!

and fun fact i ordered two copies of the forest bleeds, one for me and one for my therapist cause the internal monologue is so painfully relatable she’s gotta read it to know how my brain works. by @bychloemaron

brain frog writing retreat year 2, froggier than ever.

i finished a book, saved my friendship with Cait by watching project hail mary, and understood why shane hollander loves his cottage so much cause sitting and looking out over a lake is so peaceful. i’m so lucky to have such great friends. by @bychloemaron
