In true fashion, at the end of arguably the craziest month of the year, with 2 trips, two events/celebrations, an unreasonable number of meetings and in the middle of a transition… I decided to host a Capri/Mediterranean-themed dinner party 🤭

This dinner party wasn’t just about the food, although the food was good, but more about people and possibility, conversation and connection.

It won’t be the same group every time, and it won’t be the same conversation, but it will always be designed to make you feel and think.

One thing about me, I’m BLACK 24/7, 365. And when it comes to a Haitian woman, I’m 10 toes down.

I don’t play about my fro, but it was way past time for me to get a trim and @iamnubian.nyc came highly recommended. I booked a wash and go with @iam.nubian and babyyyy… this was an experience!

My natural hair is everything to me, so this was no joke. From the scalp assessment to the steam treatment, to antifungal and the results…10/10, no notes.

Writing was & will always be my first love
*fun fact: I have an actual degree in Journalism 🤭*

The fact that it’s actually part of my job at @hearstmagazines @hearstmag_hbc is actually still so crazy to me. Like, I’m published in a magazine?
God always brings things full circle 🙏🏾

But in 2024 & 2025, I got to produce more video campaigns for brands, attend major events and work on incredible projects, than I have in my entire career. My life is truly a ride, and I keep it so lowkey 🤭😬 lol

Unfortunately, I do whatever I want 🤷🏾‍♀️

I haven’t done a 📸 shoot in forever, but I plan on getting back to doing way more shoots this year, and sharing more campaigns online.

For this shoot, I wanted 3 cohesive looks that mirrored different parts of me: whimsical, boss & creative. I love a good androgynous look, a corset-waist trouser + a harness belt is always a yes for me.
