DELSIE | Delivering Exceptional Luxury Services with Integrity and Elegance

These words first came to me in my Boston apartment at the age of 22—just weeks after being laid off from my first job in the industry. I envisioned a company that would curate iconic experiences worldwide, producing intentional events infused with diversity and prestige—a company that would celebrate artistry, value creativity, and redefine hospitality in a way that truly resonated with each client.

At the time, this dream felt like an insurmountable desire burning in my heart, yet my reality told a different story. I was too young, too inexperienced, and lacked the education, funding, talent, and resources to be a “business owner.”

But my dreams were far greater than my fears. Through failures, setbacks, and unwavering persistence, that vision transformed into reality.

And so, I introduce to you the new DELSIE: Delivering Exceptional Luxury Services with Integrity and Elegance.

At Delsie, we curate iconic events that celebrate authenticity, self-expression, and innovation—as bold and diverse as the clients we serve. We are relentless in our commitment to excellence and exclusivity, seamlessly weaving together intricate details that transform stories into original works of art. Our collaborative process ensures every design is meaningful and intentional, reflecting your vision in its purest form. From the initial concept to the final execution, our approach is as seamless as it is sophisticated—and much like your event, it will be one you’ll never forget.

At Delsie, excellence is not just a standard—it’s a way of life. Looking back on this 13-year journey, I am deeply grateful for every team member who has played a role in making this dream a reality.
.
To our incredible clients—thank you for entrusting Delsie with the most important days of your lives.
.
To @reverielane and @tubbyri —the minority- women led team of masterminds behind this rebrand—thank you for helping me share my story in the most meaningful way.
.
And to you, my loves, thank you for your support and for your presence here in our community.
.
The best is yet to come.

Welcome to Golden Hour on the Vineyard | An Editorial

Inspired by the quiet romance of autumn on Martha’s Vineyard, where coastal beauty meets the warmth of harvest season.

A celebration of understated elegance, rich seasonal textures, and intentional design. Honey gold, caramel, earthy neutrals, and coastal blues create a palette that feels both timeless and deeply connected to the island.

Woven throughout are subtle touches of cotton, honoring Martha’s Vineyard’s rich heritage as a place of gathering, rest, and tradition for generations of African American families.

A fashion-forward interpretation of the fall wedding, where every detail feels effortless, intimate, and beautifully considered.

Impeccable design is felt long before it is seen.

The inspiration for The Wellness Advantage came to me during one of my morning runs.

There is something about those early hours. The quiet before the day begins. The rhythm of movement. The freedom to simply be, without the expectation of doing anything for anyone else.

I wanted to create an experience that offered that same feeling.

A moment to exhale.

To step away from the demands of an industry devoted to serving others and, for once, be on the receiving end of that same level of care.

Every element of the experience was considered through that lens. The softness of the room. The warmth of candlelight. The organic movement of the florals. The intimacy of the seating. The way guests were welcomed, nourished, and invited to reconnect with themselves and one another.

Nothing was designed simply to be beautiful. Every detail had a purpose.

Because true hospitality is not about how much we do for someone. It is about how deeply considered they feel in our presence.

As Director of Programs for @wipasefl and Founder and Creative Director of DELSIE, it was a privilege to lead the creative direction, design, and production of an experience that brought together two things I believe should always exist in harmony: impeccable design and intentional hospitality.

An experience that was not simply seen, but felt.

And that, to me, is the art of creating something exceptional.

There is a particular kind of magic that happens when the road begins to wind through the hills of Tuscany.

Traveling higher into the countryside, past vineyards and seemingly endless stretches of green, I wasn’t quite prepared for what would be waiting at the other end: Castello Bonaria.

A centuries-old castle rising quietly above the Tuscan landscape, surrounded by vineyards and acres of countryside. Grand, certainly...but never ostentatious. The kind of place where luxury reveals itself slowly.

Here, a wedding could become an entire week.

An aperitivo overlooking the vineyards as the sun disappears behind the hills. An intimate apericena to welcome everyone to Tuscany. Long afternoons spent poolside with nowhere else to be. A leisurely brunch the morning after. Hours tucked away in the spa beneath the castle. And, for those wishing to honor faith, heritage and tradition, a chapel just steps away.

But what stayed with me most was the intimacy of it all.

Despite the grandeur of the setting, there was an extraordinary sense of privacy ...as though every guest who arrived had somehow been made the most important person in the world. That, to me, is the rarest expression of luxury.

Old-world Italian charm met with thoughtful modern design. Impeccable hospitality without performance. Indulgence without excess. Beauty that didn’t need to announce itself.

I left imagining what it would feel like to take over the property entirely to gather the closest people you love in one extraordinary corner of Tuscany and, for a few days, make the castle your own.

A wedding, yes. But perhaps more importantly, a world created just for you.

If Castello Bonaria has been calling you to Tuscany, give me a call.

Let’s plan something unforgettable.

THE NEW ERA OF HOSPITALITY

Hospitality has never really been about the room.

Or the flowers.

Or the perfectly folded napkin.

It is about how someone feels when they walk through the door.

Seen. Considered. Expected.

For a long time, supeior quality was measured by excess. More flowers. More courses. More production. More everything.

I think we are entering a different era.

One where the most memorable experiences feel deeply personal rather than overly produced. Where the wine is chosen because there is a story behind it. Where dinner lasts a little longer than expected. Where the music, the lighting, the menu, and the people around the table somehow feel like they were always meant to exist together.

Less performance.

More presence.

The new luxury is knowing your guests well enough to anticipate what they need before they ever have to ask.

It is creating space for conversation.

For discovery.

For laughter that gets louder as the evening goes on.

For people to put their phones down and stay awhile.

Beautiful design will always matter to me.

But the older I get (and the more places I experience around the world), the more convinced I become that the greatest measure of an event is not simply what it looked like.

It is how it made people feel.

That is the new era of hospitality.

And quite frankly, I think we are just getting started.

In a tiny town tucked into the rolling hills of Tuscany lives Relais Poggio ai Santi.

Somewhere between the warmth of its owners, food pulled fresh from the garden, and those sun-soaked Tuscan hills, I remembered what it feels like to experience pure joy.

Unapologetically unpretentious and extraordinary entirely on its own terms, it was exactly what I needed it to be: quietly elevated, memorable without trying too hard, and centered around the thing I value most...connection.

The evening began with aperitivo and cocktails made with herbs from the garden, followed by a walk through the property—acres of olive trees, gardens, a greenhouse, and views that seemed to go on forever.

And then there was dinner.

Five hours of it.

Somewhere around hour three, I became convinced that we Americans may have gotten dinner entirely wrong.

There was no rush to clear the table. No urgency to move on to whatever came next. Just beautiful food, wine, conversation, and the kind of laughter that gets louder as the night gets darker.

It was hospitality without performance. Prestige without pretense.

An evening I won’t soon forget...and one I already know I want our couples and their favorite people to experience for themselves.

I was recently invited to Italy by the incredible Johanna of @ambientimage , and somewhere between the pizza, the aperitivo, and the Tuscan sunset, I discovered that I was clearly Italian in a past life.
.
On our first day, we were picked up in the most beautiful vintage cars and driven into the historic village of Campiglia Marittima, where we wandered the streets, experienced an incredible glass-blown mural, ate very well, and fully embraced the art of slowing down.
.
What surprised me most was the region’s commitment to sustainability, thoughtful design, and preserving the character of the destination. It felt authentic, intentional, and just far enough off the beaten path to feel like a true discovery.
.
Campiglia Marittima is perfect for couples who love culture, beautiful food, meaningful experiences, and a destination that feels a little unexpected.
.
I’ll never forget this welcome to Tuscany, and I cannot wait to share more of what is possible here for weddings and destination celebrations.
.
Thinking about Tuscany? Send me a message. I have thoughts.
