Welcome to By Design. I’m Ashton and this is my organizing and design company.

The origin behind the name is based from Psalm 139:13-14 “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

We are all made by HIS design and made with a purpose. Organizing your space to bring peace to your life is my purpose and a true joy.

Pantry Reset!

A client recently moved into a new home and needed pantry structure and clear “homes” for items.

Having items visible and labeled allows you to know what you have. Another goal for the client was to have the floor as empty as possible and secondly a “car snacks” bin for the parent to grab and go.

With a large family, it is also important to have “overstock” bins (at the top) for restock.

PANTRY REFRESH!

Often the goal is to keep the floor clean and clear. Most importantly, the goal is always to create functionality for the clients everyday use.

Clear bins may not photograph well but they allow the client to see everything they have. Labels give everything a designated space (“home”).

Kids’ game closet refresh!

The “EDIT” - decluttering very important. Games or puzzles with missing pieces must go. Anything that is no longer played with can easily be donated.

Label everything!

Hearing kids excited for their new space is very rewarding!

ART CLOSET TRANSFORMATION! 🎨🖌️

💯 Having everything visible and labeled is important!

📝 The cart held each child’s drawer for their favorite art items. However, it was in the way and blocking everything. We replaced it with the clear vertical bins.

🏅Adding stackable drawers maximized the space for this closet.

🤍 Hearing the kids’ excitement with the results is a huge win!

PANTRY REFRESH!

✔️Goal: To have the floor clear and everything visible

👏🏼 Having all food items visible allows the client to know what she has and what she needs. All children snacks are at reach for easy access.

🌟 Adding shelving created zones for food categories.

💰Utilizing as many bins the client already owned.
