my self monitoring always got in the way of shooting “street”.
I got off the train and instinctually started taking pictures of any moment that drew my attention, it’s a practice I play out in my head day to day but the actual act comes with a rush.

I think the shared nature of the weather and my mood aided in disregarding my routine compulsion of giving a shit. taken in London, United Kingdom by @bydomgreen

spent from systems at large, my sense of community and belonging feel invaded. I’ve made so many new relationships in the last three years that I long to develop further and invest time in. I wake with guilt from the longterm friendships i’m unable to nurture in the way they need and the way I know how.

I don’t have the capacity to maintain the parts of my life I actually care about, whilst still playing the game we’re forced to play, so my relationships and wellbeing take the hit.

two weeks in Portugal with friends briefly freed me from snares.

discovering my natural undertone is red after 5 consecutive days of different beaches.
evenings on the veranda sharing and unpacking emotional truths.
embracing a much needed indifference to my phones whereabouts.
drinking, singing, dancing, laughing copiously.
creating art from the influence of new environments surrounding me.

the older I get the more I realise that I just got here, bear with me. by @bydomgreen
