I was thinking about my primary inspiration for some of my illustrations and coming back to them I discovered just how much you can change about an image through your own imagination when you get loose completely. So I chose to share the ones I used reference for to show them here 🎨💕💚🩵🧡💜 by @byelada

New piece! 🩵💚

I’ve drawn the pose a while ago and I loved how confident the character looks. So the idea was to show the confidence despite any possible mess and chaos that would be around her. May this be a reminder to stay confident and hopeful even if we feel like everything around us is falling apart 😁💕 by @byelada

Hello! 🧡💜💙 Decided to participate in dtiys hosted by @emilie.leduc.art #dtiysemilieleduc bc I really liked the idea of having a free hand in choosing pretty much every detail, except the pose of course. And I immensely enjoyed it! The outfit gives me hippie witchy vibes 😀🔮
PS: drawing an outfit is so entertaining, bc I really spent quite some time wondering what should she wear and what colour every piece should have. Having said that, it is also so freeing in the sense that I would never in my life wear something like that, however drawing means a possibility for me to explore all sorts of different outfits 😁🥹 by @byelada

Swipe to see the whole piece! 🍓

Getting to draw proper background for my strawberry girl was so satisfying as it is one of my fav figure drawings 🥰 Thankfully procreate’s got useful perspective feature, which helped me a lot with this specific angle! And honestly, I reaaaaally love the colour palette I chose 🥹 by @byelada

Traditional portrait 〰️🌸

This was quite difficult at first bc I was nervous as it was quite some time since I drew traditionally. And my brain was clearly confused, too (such as staring at a line for a bit wondering how to start again bc two-finger tapping doesn’t work, duh 😅). But all in all, it was really meditative! 😌🤍 by @byelada

After unplanned disappearance here I am again. I’m slowly getting back to drawing (there was no timeee 😩) and I thought why don’t just sketch my favourite women of tv! It was a lovely exercise and now you might deduce what genre of tv I watch the most 😅🤭 by @byelada

My first DTIYS challenge! I’ve wanted to do one really badly for some time now and since I recently reached 200 followers I thought it could be great way to celebrate it! ⭐️

Rules:
• draw this character in your style, you can change pose, you can even draw her full body, just keep her recognisable
• no tracing and no AI
• include my original work in your post (2nd slide or last slide, doesn’t really matter)
• tag me so I can see your entry
• use the hashtag #dtiysbyelada200

There is no deadline, so you can join whenever you want! 🩷

Enjoy! by @byelada

Strawberry seasooon!!!

Colours can feel a bit overwhelming for me, especially picking them for a drawing. So to focus only on the line art is pretty freeing. Also, I didn’t think much about what I want to depict and I just went with the flow. It was real joy making it, so I thought I’d share it here. 🍓💙

First thing in the morning: be kind to yourself and your reflection 💐

I wanted to join the #juneinbloom2026 so badly! It is a great excuse to draw a lot of flowers everywhere 🤩🌸 But then again, it wouldn’t be me, if there wasn’t any character whatsoever, would it? 😅
This week is “objects and flowers” and so I chose flowers blooming from a mirror🪞🌷

Thank you for hosting @theydrawandgarden @theydrawandcook @illustratorscircle ! ❤️ by @byelada
