Probably time I introduced myself 😉👋🏼 I’m Eleni - photographer, marketing girl turned creative-everything girl, and also the owner of my lash & brow business, Studio Eleni. I spent the last few years working full-time in marketing before finishing up earlier this year, and I think that background has followed me into photography more than I realised. I’m always thinking about the why behind a photo, what it’s meant to capture, how it makes someone feel, or, for a business, how it represents their brand. And if you’re wondering what kind of photographer I am… I’m still figuring that out 😂 Right now, I genuinely love shooting everything. Give me the sidelines of a sports game, a birthday, a small wedding, an engagement or proposal, a couple in love, a baby shower, new branding for a business, portraits of your team… if it means something to you, I want to capture it. Maybe one day I’ll find my niche. But right now, I actually love not having one. There’s something really special about getting to step into completely different little moments of people’s lives. You can’t stay in a moment forever, but you can have a photo that takes you straight back to it and I think that’s what made me fall in love with photography in the first place. And one thing you should probably know before getting in front of my camera… I know it can feel SO awkward 😂. It is my genuine first priortiy to get you feeling relaxed and comfortable infront of the camera and forgetting its there at all! I’m not expecting you to magically know where to put your hands or how to pose. A huge part of my job is making you feel as comfortable, giving you direction when you need it, chatting absolute rubbish in between shots. I’m still learning, experimenting, shooting anything that excites me and figuring out exactly where I want to take this and honestly, that’s probably my favourite part of it right now. So that’s me behind the lens 🤍 No niche (yet). Just really super excited to capture it all. No occasion too big, small or random - if it matters to you, I’d love to capture it. Chances are I’ll be just as excited about it as you are. #photographer #facebehindthebrand #foryou by @byelenimichaela

Came to take photos, left wanting to book a stay 😉 Had the absolute pleasure of getting behind the camera to capture this gorgeous Airbnb on the Mornington Peninsula in Rye. Between the pool, beautiful interiors and coastal vibes, it’s safe to say this place makes you want to book a weekend away immediately. Head over to @glenmorrye to book your next get away 🥰🏝️ #photographer #realestatephotos #melbournephotography #photoshoot taken in Rye, Victoria by @byelenimichaela

My sincerest apologies to anyone who’s about to end up on Uber Eats after this… 🤤 Good food deserves photos that work just as hard as the kitchen. A reminder that sometimes updated content is all a business needs to make people stop, stare… and order. Thanks for having me @spud.mate but seriously omg these are delish 🥔 #foodphotography #ubereats #melbournephotography #food taken in Moorabbin, Victoria, Australia by @byelenimichaela
