About last night , Halloween in Bedstuy is absolutely magical and fun. Homes sign up to pass out candy and enjoy mini stoop parties. I love it , this is my second year and it didn’t disappoint. To see families and children all dressed up is heartwarming. Joy is infectious 😍🤗‼️Oh and being a for the first and last time was absolutely hilarious 🤣. FYI check the size of the Trex costume before buying 🤔😅. Thank you Decatur Street neighbors you understood the assignment and are amazing 🙏‼️#bedstuybrooklyn #halloween2026 #brooklynhalloween by @byfathe

This is one in what will be a series of self portraits in diverse mediums, a self exploration into identity from the perspective of someone who grew up with vitiligo and fully transitioned to a non-melanated black person. An experience I have long wanted to share about as an inquiry , “ if I’m white, am I still black ?“ Looking into ways to explore and express this experience beyond words. I will be starting a new page soon on this so stay tuned. #vitiligansofinstagram #vitiligoawareness#vitiligoart #digitalportraitart by @byfathe
