Inspired by the Tuareg—also known as the „Blue People of the Sahara“—I sewed this second prototype of a shoulder bag using a royal blue linen fabric. After considerable experimentation, the pleats emerged as a reflection of their traditional garments. by @byfelicis

Wallet cut from the flap of an old military seabag.

The bill pocket and one of the card slots are made from the original seabag canvas. The second card slot and the entire main body are constructed from green denim. A magnetic closure secures the piece, and each wallet is numbered in order of production.

A more defined branding method is currently in development so future pieces can carry a consistent signature.

Available on request in blue, black, green, and beige selvedge denim. #selvedge by @byfelicis

Large duffle bag made from an old brown Carhartt pant.

Handles cut from repurposed military leather belts. The interior features a checked linen lining with a small hook for keys. Multiple exterior pockets have been adapted from the original garment for added function.
The entire denim is reinforced with cotton fusible interfacing for structure, while worn details are highlighted with red thread to celebrate use and age. by @byfelicis

These chef shirts were created for @restaurantpankratz , designed with a subtle, effortless aesthetic. Unlike traditional chef shirts with heavy fabrics and visible buttons, these are made from natural-colored organic linen, offering a lighter look that fits seamlessly into a busy kitchen.

A big thank you to @farmer_paul for trusting in this project. The idea had been around for over a year, and although our timing didn’t always line up, we finally made it happen. This project has been a valuable learning experience, shaping my focus on sustainability and reuse.

Gratitude also to @lennertwoelk , whose editing brought this video to life. by @byfelicis

Chef shirts in organic linen with coconut buttons for @restaurantpankratz

Cut from natural-colored organic linen. Designed for movement and comfort, with a high collar and concealed button placket. Coconut buttons are hand-sewn with beeswax-coated thread for strength and subtle detail. (On slide 4 are the samples that led to the final cut and design of the shirt)

Focus lies on balancing functionality with a clean, minimal Japanese aesthetic. The linen breathes easily in the heat of a kitchen while holding its structure through repeated wear.

Functional storage using reclaimed wine boxes.

Sourced from a closed-down winery, the crates were carefully sanded and oiled to bring out their natural beauty. Metal plates were added as inserts, creating solid and durable shelving where the crates once lacked a base.
