Here are closeups of 6 paintings I made while in Western NY for @rtpinstitute’s Plein Air Festival.

“Whirlpool” will be part of the RTPI “Western New York en Plein Air” exhibit until November. Framed & available.

“Hoyt Lake” & “University at Buffalo” are both still available. by @bygraceming

It’s been a while since I wrote an original song with the piano… plus instagram deleted my last one from 2021 randomly a year ago. I think maybe they were trying to get me to update. I still refuse. Anyways enjoy :) by @bygraceming

Since I’ve been starting to play at open mics again, I wanted to personalize my mandolin. Plus, I have enamel paints from previous glass painting projects that were perfect :)

I have always loved ornamentation—in Chinese pottery, Islamic art, architectural structures… anywhere an artist has dedicated their time and focus to bringing intricate beauty and balance to small yet precious spaces.

Even though these details are not technically necessary, the subtle choices that the artist makes in filling each marginal space build a visual impact that could not be otherwise achieved. The art form reminds me of coexisting truths of our existence; even though one could argue that we each are tiny and insignificant in the grand scheme of things, each of our lives is still the most significant aspect—the entirety—of what we each experience in our time here, and are intrinsically connected to the whole. by @bygraceming

You can support me by buying a poster/any of my art, or streaming my music & just believing in me 😌🙏🏼

I’ve only scratched the surface - ‘tis the season 🦂

P.S. the sunglasses are part of the growth 😂 by @bygraceming

It’s crazy to look back on photos and memories from when I wrote this song and remember how long it took to actually get to the place I was writing about in the lyrics. That gap has definitely gotten smaller in the past few years; my music is getting closer to my present 🙏🏼

Also I wanted to put this back on my grid since IG deleted it without any reason or warning in 2023 🥲

Anyways, if you know me, I’ll send you a poster if you share any post about my EP (see grid) and say something nice about me 🥹🫶🏼tag me! by @bygraceming

Blessed & grateful to experience a bit of Colorado for a few days, with views to remember for a lifetime. Managed to squeeze in some painting but got attacked by a swarm of itchy bugs before I could finish lol, so I did some final edits from memory when I got home.

P.S. Listen to my EP or buy my paintings 🙏🏼😛 by @bygraceming

My EP is out! 8 years in the making. I wanted to honor my homemade music with homemade art, available as a poster on my Bandcamp! misswuway.bandcamp.com

Oil as a new medium to me has already allowed me to paint differently. New era begins… by @bygraceming

5 songs, 5 videos, a painting, a poster. The whole EP is out! My favorite originals from the last 8 years. Give it a listen.

Appreciate you all 🙏🏼 by @bygraceming

EP OUT, on Bandcamp where you can pre-order a POSTER (ships by 11/1) + all streaming platforms under the artist name “miss wu-way”.

This song is where the EP begins. I wrote it for my first gig where my name was on the flyer back in 2018 by @bygraceming

I’ve been playing these songs for so long it’s about time I put out the EP. Tomorrow. by @bygraceming

Songs recorded on Monday. Album art, painted on Tuesday. Videos & merch, edited on Wednesday. Years of writing, practicing, performing… finally came together in a whirlwind.

These are the 5 songs from the last 8 years that have made my recent performance rotation. Out tomorrow 🙏🏼 by @bygraceming
