This shot was worth the whole trip to Sedona. Cathedral rock during sunset 🌅 Came to Sedona to photograph people, stayed for the landscapes. Didn’t plan on trekking through a stream with my camera to get the shot. Needed my tripod so I could capture the movement of the water. #SedonaMagic #ChasingLight #PassionProject #BehindTheShot #PhotographerStory #NaturePhotographer #WildernessCulture #ThroughTheLens #fypシ #RiskForTheShot taken in Sedona, Arizona by @byjakecornish

As I look back on my time in Sedona (pun intended)… I didn’t expect the landscapes to steal the show. I set out on these adventures hoping to connect with people passing through—but ended up staying for the raw beauty of the Sedona landscapes. Excited to share the work I captured among these stunning red rocks this week. #Sedona #OnTheRoad #LandscapePhotography #HikingArizona #DesertMagic taken in Sedona, Arizona by @byjakecornish

We did it 🎉🏃‍♂️ My first marathon is in the books…and it was definitely a hard one (too many hills). I’m beyond thankful for the support system I have—an amazing family, the BEST partner, incredible friends…and of course my sweet dog. Thank y’all for all the support and kind words 🤍 time to rest these legs! taken in Austin, Texas by @byjakecornish

To celebrate my dad’s birthday, we captured him in his element—bold, timeless, and giving George Clooney a run for his money. Your flight cap still fits like a glove! Happy birthday, Dad. #majorgeneral #portraiture #photography #happybirthday taken in Austin, Texas by @byjakecornish

It’s time for a new beginning. A year ago, I moved back to Texas to be closer to family. Adjusting after leaving behind close friends in NY and LA wasn’t easy, but it was the right choice. Over the past year, I’ve rediscovered a city I once knew, made lifelong friends, fallen in love, and reconnected with a passion I had set aside: photography. Earlier this year, after experiencing tech layoffs, I decided to leave the corporate world and fully embrace what I love most—capturing people’s stories. Photography has always been my way of celebrating individuality, and now I’m making it my full-time focus. I’m thrilled to introduce @cornishstudios, my portrait and brand photography business based here in Austin, Texas. While I’m setting roots in the Texas capital, I’ll also be traveling across the country to create personal projects and share stories I can’t wait for y’all to see. If you’re interested in setting up a session with me (even if you’re not in Austin!), send me a DM or submit an inquiry through the link in my bio. Cheers to new adventures, and thank you for being part of this journey. Your support means the world to me! 🫂 #ATXPhotography #CornishStudios #Portraits #StorytellingThroughPhotography taken in Austin, Texas by @byjakecornish
