Don't start building until you've done this one thing.

Security does not exist in nature, unfortunately.

So many people, women especially, have been impacted by mass layoffs in the last year and I have sooo many thoughts about this but one consistently prevails:

Diversifying your income and TRYING the ideas you have will always be a safe bet. The worst that can happen is you learn, the best that can happen is literally life-changing!!

Some days are absolutely harder than others as an entrepreneur—I'm literally experiencing one of those days TODAY. But ultimately, trusting myself is the greatest decision I've ever made and I'm thankful to be where I am, even right now.

By no means am I encouraging you to quit your day job and hop in without a plan. But why not try to earn just an extra $100/mo. to start? Self-reliance doesn't have to start with the big splashy $10K months, in fact it hardly ever does!

If keeping yourself and your family safe is your goal, start diversifying today because corporate loyalty is not a two-way street. Do it messily! Do it before you're ready! It's never too early to start building a bigger, better life.

They say it's the, 'women's entrepreneur era.'

That's a lie. 🙃

Women's entrepreneurship is up 69% and women now own over 40% of all US businesses. So why is a smaller slice of US business revenue going to them EVERY year?

The average woman-owned business is 5x smaller than the average man-owned business, and that's the average! The most LIKELY woman-owned business earns 25x less than the average man-owned business.

Building a business > owning a business, the numbers don't lie even when the headlines do.

Because money is power, and power given to women leads to better communities.

I've been exploring my values, interests, and anything that brings me joy like it's my full-time job for the past 3 months and FINALLY I had a major breakthrough this past week.

Now, it's time to follow that thread! Just like with the Women Founders Summit, I'm publicly setting a goal to hold myself accountable (because that worked sooo well for me y'all):

I'm going to speak with 50 women founders that are pre-revenue or sub-$100K in annual revenue before the end of 2026!

This gives me 56 days to hit my goal, excluding holidays and weekends. LET'S GOOOO!!!

Spoiler alert: it's basic AF.

AND so many of us struggle with this. It could be because we're overcommitted, we're scattered, we need to outsource... But the results are the same.

This is why I think there's a super interesting overlap between successful entrepreneurs and people who workout regularly. These people know what it means to get the workout in even when, and perhaps especially when, everything is against them.

I started noticing this about 2 years ago when I started working with dozens of founders at once and started my own fitness journey, too. Holy eff are the two interconnected!

Remember: it doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to get done.
