POSTS STORIES REELS
wip wednesday + some willow trees and lake views ✨🫶🏻 currently have the monday sweater by @petiteknit cast on, using @sandnesgarn tynn silk mohair and merino wool by concept by Kaita. It’s been a super fun project so far, and I’m looking forward to wearing the sweater (it’s SO soft). It’s also my first time knitting a raglan and the yoke took forever! happy wednesday! #knitting #willow #petiteknit #knitwear #fallfashion by @bykatery
dark denim & dostoevsky this book is so hard to put down!! even though i know what happens i am continuously surprised by this story and narrator. what are your early fall reads? #bookstagram #reading #fallfashion #russianliterature #books by @bykatery
my most recent knit 🧶 this one took a while as it was done throughout the process of moving! i’m happy it’s finished and looking forward to starting my next project:) it was also a failed attempt at making the miu top lol I should have bought the pattern and more yarn!! #yarn #knitting #fashion #fallknitting #navyblue by @bykatery
this knit dress was the project that taught me how fun knitting can be! i was hesitant to start knitting because the idea of reading a pattern just seemed like the worst to me. this dress came from a mistake i made when trying to follow a sweater pattern back in 2024. Instead of frogging the panels I had knit, I sewed them together to create this :) I’m quite happy with it, but I don’t wear it as often as I’d like because it is SO warm. What is an unexpected project you made? #knitting #fashion #offtheshoulder #knitdress #style by @bykatery
a lovely weekend ✨ happy monday!! i’m excited to get more work done on the top I’m knitting this week and maybe make a trip to the yarn store for my next project :)) what are you looking forward to this week? #coffee #knitting #books #fashion #cycling by @bykatery
it’s that time of the year 📚 started packing up my apartment for moving to a new school for my master’s. this video is my attempt to make packing and change more fun :) let me know if you’ve read any of the books that i’ve packed! #university #packwithme #books #bookstagram #englishmajor by @bykatery
my first knit sweater !! quite happy with how this turned out, though there are some holes where i used short rows for the shoulders… but it’s just practice, so that’s ok! i followed the @petiteknit cloud sweater pattern, making size xs using @dropsdesign air yarn in colour 03. i’m really looking forward to wearing this more in the fall 🍂🤍 #knitting #petiteknit #knitsweater #handmade #style by @bykatery
ideal cast on spot 🧶 *no fish were caught* but it was such a peaceful day by the lake! i finished knitting the straps for my new striped tote bag with my friends beside me :) #knitting #handmade #hobby #lakeside #knit by @bykatery
knitting a tote bag and picking blueberries to match 🫐 swipe to see my bestie modelling the bag :)) I made the straps a bit longer than intended but i’m happy with the way it turned out. #knitting #knit #totebag #summer #blueberries by @bykatery
tried something new recently :) i found i was missing baby tees in my wardrobe for summer so i decided to make one. yarn used is dusty teal by James C Brett in 100% cotton, on 4.5 mm needles. let me know if you have any tips for measuring sleeves! #knitting #teal #summerstyle #knit #handmade by @bykatery
july reads ! i’ve been working my way through these three books this month :) it’s definitely been a knitting heavy summer so reading has been slower than usual. also, i didn’t get to finish the odyssey before watching the movie, but that’s ok! i really loved the film, it exceeded my expectations and now i’m more excited about reading it. • the door by Magda Szabó • the odyssey by Homer, translated by Emily Wilson • miss dior by Justine Picardie what are you currently reading? #odyssey #dior #books #bookstagram #summerreads by @bykatery
in the mood to not leave the house until i finish this project 🩵 hoping to complete it by tomorrow :) what are you currently working on? #knitting #handmade #summerstyle #bookstagram #teal by @bykatery
