When I create a piece my first source of inspiration is the woman that's going to wear it.
I want to make dresses out of sunsets, drape her in golden light, warmth and freedom. She shines on her own. My dress simply magnifies the confidence she already radiates.

So incredibly grateful to have been able to present my work in this collective Showroom hosted by @olouwa.g Slowly but surely, I feel like I’m getting out of my shell and gaining confidence in my work and in who I am as a designer. THIS IS IT ! My final Fashion school project, crowning my 3rd and last year entitled LIFE IMITATES ART.
This project has been a real challenge for me, full of twists and turns... Literaly ! But I made it and this is the final result. It was a very experimental project where I did a lot of researches on the shapes, fabrics and dyeing techniques. My goal was to capture the essence of an art piece to make it wearable and was especially inspired by Francis Bacon's work.
