Choosing paint colours in our new home 🏡

It's time to renovate the hallway ✨ We will be painting, and changing the flooring through our entrance hall. The colour we choose for the walls here will run up the stairs and through the upstairs landing.

I wanted the colour to feel warm and welcoming, but also to make a statement as you enter the home. I have always wanted to use a plaster colour, and here feels the perfect opportunity.

At the moment, we have tried Farrow & Ball Setting Plaster and Scallop, as well as Edward Bulmer Jonquil. The other neutrals you see are the complimentary colours for the skirtings and staircase.

Have you used a similar colour in your home? ⭐ We would love any recommendations you may have.

The one you asked for... here is our new home update 🏡

Only a little glimpse for now. The house is a blank canvas, lots of brilliant white 🙈 but the perfect starting point to make it our own, and the first job on the list is to add lots of colour & patterns.

Stay tuned to follow our journey making this North Norfolk house a home 🧡

Is there anything better than a @thehappyhuts day?! 🌞 🐚 🌊

We will guarantee to book multiple times a year, whether the sun is shining or it's a chilly day on the coast, a beach hut at Wells-next-the-Sea is the perfect day out. The Happy Huts are particularly exceptional, providing everything you need for a beach day 💛 taken in Wells Next The Sea, Norfolk, United Kingdom by @bykittyrose
