The garden is definitely winding down, but the berries are still showing up. It's hard to be sad about snow in a few weeks when there's still life happening. Not mad about having a daily bowl of sweetness while it lasts. by @bylancer

When you buy a bag of tart cherries from a neighbor's tree and squirrel them away for a special occasion, and then you stay up very late on Christmas Eve to use said special cherries in a special pie, be sure to check whether the cherries need to be pitted 😬 by @bylancer
