When you shave all your hair off, you can't hide behind anything. Things get more clear, it's addictive. I feel like I've hidden my true self at times because I thought that you weren't ready to see "all of that". But I'm done making decisions for you, you're here to see my artwork and I suppose, the creator of that artwork. So here I am. Let's kick this off properly. ⋒ My name is Lauren Fowler. I'm 35, a tea drinker, artist, pattern addict, spiritual student, marijuana smoker, idea alchemist, sometimes singer and hallway dancer. Come with me, I promise it'll be golden. Are you in to peel back some layers? Let's make rainbows together! ⋒ by @bylaurenfowler

Doing a hand craft like cross stitch is a great way to relax after a long day. It's slow and it's fun. Your hands get to do busy work while you're mind gets to wander. A moving meditation. Have you tried cross stitching? DIY Kits are available on my online shop. 🤍🪡🤍 . . . #crossstitch #diykit #embroidery #meditation #xstitch #diykit by @bylaurenfowler

This is the last artwork I created. It was in May, Be Here Now. I looked through my phone, at the photos I was taking when I was “being here nowing”. So here is a photo dump of that time. Be Here Now is a Ram Dass quote, if you can call 3 words a quote, but it’s also the name of his book. This phrase frequently pops into my head, because so often we’re either focusing on the present or the past. But actually, all that REALLY exists is this moment is now. And now. And now… xx Be Here Now is available in my shop as an A3 print or A2. Shop yours online now so you can also Be Here Now with me. by @bylaurenfowler
Creating these portraits at the father's day activation at Gucci last month gave me such a thrill! I don't usually illustrate portraits, so I wanted to make them fun and different. I digutally illustrated each client from a photograph. We printed them out, framed them and gave them to the client, all in store. I loved creating them so much, I've opened the offer up to everyone. How to get your own high res custom digital portrait. ✏️ ✨ Click the product link below until you get to my shop. ✨ Select your colourway. ✨ Add to cart. ✨ Email me the photo of the face you want illustrated. ✨ Receive your personal digital portrait straight to your inbox! Print it on paper, a t-shirt or use it as your profile pic. The options are endless! #portraitillustration #digitalportrait #customportrait #capetownillustrator #southafricanillustrator by @bylaurenfowler
