Hoffmanns Erzählungen · Staatstheater Wiesbaden · 2026

🇬🇧
On very short notice last week, I was able to step in for a colleague who was unfortunately unwell and photograph the musical theatre production of „Hoffmanns Erzählungen* at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden’s Großes Haus.
It was a production with an incredible attention to detail, boasting outstanding acting and singing, and executed with incredible finesse.
My heartfelt congratulations to everyone on stage and behind the scenes – I’m delighted to have been entrusted with this task by the team and to have had the opportunity to capture this fantastic production through my lens.

🇩🇪

Documenting Plácido Domingo and Guanqun Yu on stage at the Internationale Maifestspiele 2026, accompanied by James Vaughan on piano. Always a great experience capturing live stage performances and classical concerts in Wiesbaden.

A few impressions from the concert at the 2026 Internationale Maifestspiele, featuring mezzo-soprano @sourouziannora and pianist @a.damrogala.

Their program created a subtle bridge between French mélodie and Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, exploring themes of longing, night, and transformation through works by Duparc, Chausson, Debussy, and Samazeuilh.
