I have a little idea, and I’d really love to bring it to life!! I’ve been reflecting lately on how the world is changing faster than we can keep up with. Everything feels so overstimulating, and sometimes it’s so hard to tell what’s real anymore. I’m getting tired of it :( And it only reinforced my belief in what really matters: human creativity, love, and the connections we have with each other. These are things that can’t be replaced, and they’re what Mellow has always been about. I feel like we have a responsibility to do more to bring these values to life. We’re still a small brand, and while we don’t have a huge budget, we’d really love to support more independent artists and celebrate human creativity! We’ve been thinking about starting a little creative project where we commission artists working in stop-motion, animation, illustration, poetry, embroidery, photography, clay, pottery, or really in any creative format, and give them the freedom to explore these ideas (human connection and relationships) and bring them to life from their own perspective! I genuinely think we need more of this in the world right now. So we’re now looking for more artists!! If you’re an artist, or know someone whose work you love, please let us know!
