Found these beautiful stained glass ornaments by @lood_zwaar. Inspired by their suggestion of a mobile, I used rods, hex nuts, and a chain from Praxis - no fixed parts, just adjustable components to literally balance the glass pieces. The colours and placement were inspired by our stained glass windows.

A few year on and these two V60 sets remain unfinished, simply because I couldn’t develop a glaze that suited. Part of me couldn’t part from the chalk white finish of its bisque finish.

Designed to be admired as objects, yet functional as a brewing device, with thick banding to provide thermal comfort, and a sharp beveled spout to make a clean pour.

Inviting a moment of stillness with organic forms and a muted palette. Combining the minimalist wooden headboard from @eva.home with their organic hemp linen bedding. A gentle glow reflects off the glossy finish of @haydesign’s Korpus shelf in Cream.

Richness in layering timber pieces together - torrefied white ash benches by @lowe.furniture frames a charred timber dining table. The benches with their orthogonal stance, contrasts with the dining table’s live edge and unapologetic knots.

A stoneware coffee dripper set for one.

Pictured as bisqueware, the streaking of the coarse body is characteristic of wheel throwing, once fired again, the exterior will become visually rich and highly tactile.

A balancing act of mass and light - the engineered with the organic. The powder room of Hyland Terrace departs from the norm of domestic “wet zones”, and instead celebrates the joinery as its furniture. Filtered and diffused light provides task lighting that is functional yet ambient.
