MEET THE ARTIST!!! BYOB is proud to announce our third artists performing August 1st 😁 Graffiti Soul featuring Rex Mics and Jank all the way from Manchester 😎 Graffiti Soul has been on our radar from the beginning, he brings a tight selection of hard hitting, carefully crafted beats pulling a mix of heavy, dark, mysterious and funky vibes together. As the driving force of the gang, Graffiti Soul set out with the intention of producing for a live setting with an ever growing roster of MCs and combinations on the mic. Graffiti Soul also raps under the alias of mano. If you came to our first event at NQ you witnessed a taste of what is to come August 1st 😜 Rex Mics is a force to be reckoned with and began writing and recording as a teen!! In 2021 he has released projects with Phreebass, Sl8r and Graffiti Soul, the latest being the LP Le Mistral. Away from hip hop he has steadily been making a name for himself as an MC in the Dnb/Jungle scene and has residencies in 3 cities. Expect precise lyricism delivered with aplomb 💯 Jank was brought to our attention at our first NQ event alongside Graffiti Soul an did not disappoint!! He started out rap battling in Manchester parks in 2009, then began MCing local club nights under the name Papa Gander. After a long hiatus he joined up with Graffiti Soul as JANK in the early 2020s, together they are currently working on a new album!!This trio is guaranteed to blow the roof off NQ with the highest quality beats and bars 👌 To miss it would be to miss out!!! MEET THE ARTIST!!! BYOB is proud to announce our second artist performing August 1st 😁 The talented young gun NoTtJoe 😎 NoTtJoe one of Huddersfields freshest up and coming rappers!! This guy is not shy about speaking his mind and his ability on the mic is insane especially for a young lad whether off the top freestyle or written!! It's artists like Joe that give us faith that the future of Hudds/WY is in good hands 💪 NoTtJoe started out with battle rap for fun with his mates and once he realised his potential he decided to develop his ability further transitioning into songwriting and stage shows proving he is fully capable on multiple genres!! From Hiphop to Grime, Dubstep and Garage NoTtJoe is always ready to bring a sick flow with clean delivery to get you bopping!! MEET THE ARTIST!!! BYOB is proud to announce our first artist performing August 1st 😁 The wonderful Flowers 💐 Flowers is a singer and rapper who is influenced by soul, funk, jazz and hip hop. She is currently enjoying writing her own material and discovering her own sound. Flowers introduced herself to the BYOB movement at our launch event last October and absolutely stole the show on the Open Mic, she clearly loves to perform live and to connect with people through music.Flowers tells us she is looking forward to creating more songs in the future and collaborating with like minds and we have been more than happy to support her over this past year. As well as local shows Flowers has been fortunate enough to support international artists such as Akua Naru and Total Hip Replacement. Flowers brings a soulful, warm, positive sound and is excited for more performance opportunities in the future. A massive thank you to everyone who showed up in support and big ups for BYOB - Beats, Bars & Burners for putting on a 10/10 performance. Can't forget the support acts, special guests and sound engineer, everyone put in 100% on that stage 💪 moving forward we have decided to start taking BPR on the road and start hitting cities and festivals with the first one being Equinox Festival 17th - 21st September!(More info on date and times soon).
