@rede_oo asked how Iā€™m able to shoot a monthā€™s worth of content in just one day, so hereā€™s the answer. The truth is, it has very little to do with the camera and everything to do with PREPARATION. Before I film anything, I already know what Iā€™m creating. My content ideas are planned out, my scripts are ready, my outfits are sorted, and I know exactly what shots I need. By the time I get to the shoot, Iā€™m not thinking about what to say next. Iā€™m simply executing the plan. I also make sure my equipment is ready, my location is set, and I batch similar content together so I can record multiple videos without wasting time switching setups. Most people think content days are about creating. Theyā€™re actually about executing what youā€™ve already planned. Thatā€™s how I can leave a shoot with enough content to post for weeks, sometimes even months. If youā€™re constantly struggling to stay consistent, the problem may not be that you need more time. A lot of people ask me how Iā€™m able to shoot monthsā€™ worth of content in a single day, and honestly, it comes down to PROPER PLANNING. The first thing I do is CREATE A CONTENT CALENDAR or SIMPLY IDEATE. This is where I come up with the different video ideas I want to create over the next few months. Once I have my content ideas, I move on to SCRIPTING. I make sure each script is detailed, and if there are specific shots I need to capture, I include those in the brief as well. After the scripts are ready, I start PLANNING my OUTFITS, HAIR, and MAKEUP. For most brands, they already have branded shirts, so that makes things easier. For other types of content, I switch up my outfits to create some variety. This part of the process is usually pretty straightforward. Once my outfits, hair, and makeup are sorted, I focus on my EQUIPMENTS. I make sure my devices are fully charged. I use my PHONE sometimes but opt for a CAMERA when I need that extra crisp quality, overall I make sure every gadget Iā€™ll be using is charged and ready to go. Depending on the shoot, I might use a SHORTLET, a CONTENT STUDIO, or sometimes my house (I use my house mostly for personal content and not brand shoots) Thatā€™s really it. Once all the planning is done, I EXECUTE. Hereā€™s what a week full of work looks like for me. Some days I worked more and other days I didnā€™t but there was an activity for everyday. This is not how all my weeks are.
