For #ThrowbackThursday, here's the full set of accordion books that constitute 'The Elements'. Completed in 2020, the work now lives in a private collection in England. The symbols for each element are my own inventions.

I don't have an individual finished project for #AreYouBookEnough_Legacy. instead I have the legacy I have passed on through my blog. The image shows twenty-five of the bookish projects I have given away. My legacy is the books editioned by each person making their own copy, the pleasure people have derived, and the knowledge shared. This is a significant part of my art practice.

July 7 is the anniversary of the Byopia Press blog. In 2022 I created a drumleaf variation of my Orihime binding —a woven structure— and gave instructions for it on the anniversary post. If you would like to try making your own copy, click on Link in Bio, then Blog, then use blog Archive to find June 26 and July 3, 2022 or go directly to https://byopiapress.wordpress.com/2022/06/26/the-orihime-binding-with-a-drumleaf-variation-part-one/ and https://byopiapress.wordpress.com/2022/07/03/the-orihime-binding-with-a-drumleaf-variation-part-two/
