🤣 @mandy.nolan My Latest crop of stand-up Comedy graduates are ready for their first big show! Come and check them out flying in the face of fear. They are so funny. I so love this process of working with people. It’s more than making them funny. It’s getting to know what makes people tick. What happened to them to make them who they are? And what incredible resilience encourage they have to do something that would terrify most people. It’s king’s birthday evening. Come celebrate with our local queens of Comedy! Heads up Byron Bay…Carmita Restaurant & Bar recently opened in a gorgeous space in Suffolk Park serving up super tasty food & epic drinks 🙌♥️ The space is beautifully designed - cosy & rustic with bottles of wine lining the walls and an expansive outdoor area 😍😍 The food is a fusion of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors and is comforting, flavorful and creative 🔥🔥 A stunning bar sits at the heart of @carmitabyronbay, the perfect spot to pull up a seat if you are in the mood for drinks & snacks from the ‘teasers’ section of the menu 🦪🍸 I highly recommend trying the well crafted cocktails, each with a unique twist - I had the Yuzu Negroni which was absolutely delicious with the addition of Yuzushu 🥃🍊 There is an excellent selection of wine with bottles lining the walls - I had a very good Sangiovese 🥂🍷 I started with a couple of snacks which were incredible - super fresh tuna crudo served with preserved lemon, fresh chilli & extra virgin olive oil was divine 🐟🍋 The Beef Tartare Bruschetta with capers, dijon mustard & whipped brown butter yolk is epic 🔥🔥 The Seared Fish Bruschetta with fermented chilli & spring onion salsa is super tasty with a divine fennel jam 🐟🌶️ After a couple of snacks & drinks, you will definitely be tempted to stay for dinner and the larger plates from the ‘let’s get carried away’ section of the menu are so good! 🙌♥️ A perfectly cooked Charcoal Barramundi Skewer is served with an epic silky beurre blanc & baby spinach - this dish is a must-try, the barramundi literally melts in your mouth, it is so good! 🐟🥬 The Fire Potatoes is another must-try dish, smokey potatoes served on a bed of creamy labneh with silverbeet salsa & caramelised onion 🥔🥬 Chargrilled Sirloin Steak is served with a tasty salsa verde & fire onions…another epic dish! 🥩🌿 Charcoal Greens flash-grilled w lemon & olive oil is the perfect side dish 🥦🍋 For dessert I absolutely loved the Salted Honey Tart - it is delicious, rustic & comforting 🍯💛 I highly recommend a visit to @carmitabyronbay - bravo team, you have created such a beautiful, welcoming space with incredible food & drinks! 🙌♥️#byronbay #byronbayeats #visitbyron #carmitabyronbay by @byron.bay.nsw
