It feels so good to finally be back home 🥹

This is where life began for me almost 30 years ago. Even though I was born in America, I lived here with my grandparents until I was 4 years old. When I moved back to America, I never knew I was moving and I would always stare out our apartment window contemplating, dreaming about coming back. Ciel turned 1 this past Sunday so here's a photodump of our past year together 🥲 I'm blessed to be able to watch him grow up before my eyes. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for our family. by @byronpineiro

When we first got Daisy, she was so small, she could fit on the palm of my hand, no exaggeration. She loved to talk and sing if you spoke and sang to her. If you told her "Kamusta (Hello in Filipino)" she would extend her paw out to shake your hand. My grandma taught her that trick. I think for as long as I've had Daisy, she's always been by my side. Every time I came home, she would always meet me at the door. If I was chilling at home, she'd follow me wherever I went; even if I wasn't going to be gone longer than a minute. Even if I was just going to the bathroom, she would just wait outside the door until I came out 😂 Daisy was always be trailing right behind me. For over sixteen years we'd always start and end our day, together.

Today, we had to say goodbye and it really breaks my heart knowing our sixteen year journey together has come to an end. I wish I had sixteen more years with her but even if we had thirty-two years together it still wouldn't be enough time together for me. Letting her move on was the most difficult decision I've ever had to make throughout my entire lifetime. It hurts to know tomorrow, I'll wake up and she will no longer be there, looking up at me with her big beaming eyes. I can only hope our souls will find each other again in the afterlife. I'm going to miss everything about Daisy. I love her, alway will; forever ❤ by @byronpineiro
