Haters are going to hate, but the team at PK actually advocate washing everyday. I always have.

Is it a commitment? Yes
Will I stop? Absolutely not

NEW from Vieve - Skin Nova Concealer

Lovely lightweight ‘balm like’ skincare-infused concealer. Does what it says on the tin - it brighten, blurs and provides a lovely radiant finish.

I picked two shades and here’s the low down:

My skin tone = Light with Cool (pinky) undertones

My picks = 130 Light Peach 🍑
= 200 Medium Cool

The lightest cool tone at 100 just felt like it would be too light.

The verdict = its shade 130, the first swatch for me, shade 200 is simply too warm

Overall this is a lovely concealer and with it being fragrance free it doesn’t irritate my eyes 👀

Finger tapping free ASMR, even thrown in the odd child sound as they never leave my side!

I have to admit, as beautiful as this fragrance is, the scent itself isn’t quite me — so this little beauty will be finding a new home with a friend or family member who I’m sure will adore it.

But I can absolutely appreciate its beauty… just LOOK at that bottle. 😍

The fragrance is a floral, woody scent built around:

🍊 Top: Blood Orange Nectar Accord
🌸 Heart: Tuberose
🤎 Base: Sandalwood

A bold, sensual combination with a gorgeous, warm dry-down — just sadly not my personal fragrance match.

Mascara that stays on your lashes. Revolutionary.

I’ve tried enough mascaras over the years to know not to get excited.

But Beauty Pie Wrap Star Mascara in Classic Brown has somehow managed to tick all the boxes:

No smudging.
No panda eyes.
No flaking.
And it’s Warm Toned Chestnut BROWN - perfect for us fair gals and boys

My lashes look defined, but not like I’ve applied them with a Sharpie.

My lifestyle doesn’t really fit around content creation anymore… so I’m learning to make content creation fit around my lifestyle instead. 🤍

Which basically means you’re much more likely to find me applying a new skincare product on a walk with the kids than spending 3 hours setting up the “perfect” shot at home 😂

And honestly? I think I prefer it this way.

Real life, real routines, little pockets of self-care wherever I can find them… and today’s little pocket of skincare was the new Glow Recipe Banana Milk Glass Balm 🍌✨

Because life doesn’t stop so I can make content — and I don’t want to miss life trying to make content anymore.

As a child my parents would make sure we’d slather ourselves in sun cream before we went out, but busy having fun… we often refused to come back out the water for a top up.

I burnt many times
Burn turned to blisters often
Then I’d peel
I didn’t learn
Until now

Why is it I still hear people saying “it’s not hot so it’s okay”?

Even if it’s not “HOT” there’s danger from sun damage and UV rays. Protect yourselves out there, educate your children and carry SPF like it’s your best friend ☀️ ⛅️

Ladies and gents, drop the Apricot scrub if you’ve even dared to pick it up!

@dermalogicauk Daily Microfoliant is gentle enough for daily use… unless you mix it like I did here 🤣 ok I was filming over my sofa to grab 5 mins of daylight once the kids were in bed (finally), and I didn’t fancy dribbling it everywhere… despite the fact it would have probably been the least offensive thing to grace my settee, amongst the cream cheese, crushed crisps and piddle!

Anyway, this little rice-based powder mixed with a splash (or two) of water, provides a lovely sandpaper free, gentle exfoliation. I use it in places I care not to admit.

Fabulous stuff and it lasts forever!
