PERFECT condition Hilo rice bag sack fabric - been on my list to thrift for so long now. Sourced at a garage sale this weekend (along with so many other goodies).

Join @carswestside of @byslowlane for a hands-on block printing experience. Please bring your own clothes to upcycle with provided block prints. Don’t have anything you want to print on? We will also have deadstock fabric squares to print on. Every print you create will help make a difference—100% of each $10 donation from this event will go toward the Kona Low flood relief efforts.

When I teach my 🥟 cooking classes, there’s something special about slowing down, working with my hands, and creating from scratch—it’s what fills my soul.

The tables turned when I signed up for a block printing workshop and turned my little dumpling world into art. Each print is hand-carved, hand-pressed, and I’m kind of obsessed with how they turned out.

Choose a subject that inspires you, from plants and animals to abstract shapes or personal symbols, and create a small set of prints to take home. Check out these amazing works participants created at the last workshop!

All materials are included along with sips and snacks to enjoy while you work. Each participant will receive a linoleum block, a carving tool to keep, and paper for printing. DM me with any questions and I hope to see you there!
