Art doesn’t have to be expensive. Decorate your walls with things that speak to you! I framed a $4 vintage map in a $10 secondhand frame for a client/friend who loves maps. $14 for something unique that personalizes a space is money well spent. taken in Triangle Area, NC by @bystudiomika

Had a lovely first portrait booth at @thrift_a_bull_market in April and looking forward to another on May 9th! Lovely energy from all ❤️ I’ll be doing something different this time with new (to me, always vintage) costume pieces so come check it out! #installationartist #experientialartist taken in Surf Club by @bystudiomika

This hanging datura lamp is made from fabric, wire, and a lot of trial and error. Watching it come together and finally glow in the garden made every frustrating hour worth it.

One strange addition at a time. by @bystudiomika

North Carolina is in a drought, so I did the only reasonable thing.
I spent hours editing footage of myself performing a rain dance in sequins and velvet.

At this point, it really needs to rain. taken in North Carolina by @bystudiomika

I’m working on something I’ve wanted to create for a long time: a magical garden party.

An evening of beautiful oddities, hidden details, good company, and a touch of make-believe.

If we’ve met in real life and that sounds like your kind of thing, comment or DM me and I’ll send you the details ❤️ taken in Raleigh, North Carolina by @bystudiomika
